Angkor Wat ist ein Tempel in Kambodscha und das größte religiöse Denkmal der Welt. Ursprünglich als Hindu-Tempel für das Khmer-Reich im 12. Jahrhundert von König Suryavarman II. als dem Gott Vishnu geweihter Tempel erbaut, wurde er nach und nach in einen buddhistischen Tempel umgewandelt. als solcher wird er auch als „Hindu-Buddhist“ bezeichnet.
Das Südtor von Angkor Thom ist der berühmteste Tempel im Angkor Archäologischen Park und sollte nicht verpasst werden. Liegt neben Baksei Chamkrong, kann aber trotzdem mit dem Auto oder zu Fuß durchquert werden.
Bayon ist ein wunderschöner Tempel im Zusammenhang mit dem Buddhismus in Angkor in Kambodscha. Erbaut im späten 12. oder frühen 13. Jahrhundert als Staatstempel von König Jayavarman VII. Bayon liegt im Zentrum von Angkor Thom.
Thommanon ist einer der Hindu-Tempel, der während der Herrschaft von Suryavarman II. in Angkor, Kambodscha, erbaut wurde. Dieser wunderschöne kleine Tempel liegt östlich des Tores von Angkor Thom und nördlich des Chau Say Tevoda-Tempels.
Ta Prohm (Dschungeltempel) ist der berühmte „Tomb Raider Tempel“, der in Angelina Jolies Film verwendet wird. Auf einem Tempel wächst ein erstaunlicher Baum. Lassen Sie sich diesen Tempel nicht entgehen.
Banteay Kdei ist ein buddhistischer Tempel in Angkor, Kambodscha. Es liegt südöstlich von Ta Prohm und östlich von Angkor Thom. Es ist im Stil der Bayon-Architektur gehalten, wie die Entwürfe von Ta Prohm und Preah Khan, aber es wird immer kleiner. Die Baumwurzeln in Banteay Kdei sind absolut riesig und sie übernehmen die Kontrolle über die Gebäude.
Der Ta Keo Tempel ist ein markanter Bergtempel im Angkor-Komplex, der im späten 10.–frühen 11. Jahrhundert während der Herrschaft von König Jayavarman V. erbaut wurde. Er ist dem Hindu-Gott Shiva gewidmet und ist berühmt für seine massiven Sandsteinblöcke und fast vollständig schmucklosen Wände, die ihm ein mächtiges und unvollendetes Aussehen verleihen. Besucher können die steilen Stufen hinaufsteigen, um einen Panoramablick auf den umliegenden Dschungel und die nahe gelegenen Angkor-Tempel zu genießen, was es zu einem beliebten Halt für abenteuerlustige Reisende macht.

I had a really good time on this tour. Angkor Wat looked amazing, especially in the morning when it was calm and less crowded. Ta Prohm felt very unique with the big trees around the ruins, giving it a natural and peaceful vibe. The whole trip was well organized and everything went smoothly. It was a very nice and relaxing experience.

This tour turned out to be one of the best parts of my trip. We recently enjoyed a wonderful Angkor Wat tour with our guide Longdy.
