The activity is wonderful. The guides who accompanied us were excellent, they are very friendly and especially attentive. They picked us up at the hotel on time. The food provided was equally great. We recommend!

From the first enquiry until our final drop off, this tour was fantastic. I was a little concerned about walking in snow but the operator was very helpful and gave great advice. Our pick up was on time and the drive to the Cajon was lovely. A comfy van with a stop on the way to buy breakfast. Our guides Inez and Martin were so kind, helpful, generous, friendly and knowledgeable. They were very careful with the guests and took great care of us on the hike up and down. The views were magnificent. I am in my late 50’s and didn’t find the hike too hard. You are walking up for a while so of course it is not the same as walking on a flat road, but the guides took a slow and steady pace with breaks as needed. They provided walking poles for those who did not have them. The packed lunch was very nice and they supplied ample water. At the end you are treated with some Chilean wine, cheese, fruit and other tasty treats. I am so happy I did this tour!

This is a very well organised Hiking Trip in the mountains. Andres is an excellent guide. He provides very clear instructions and information and is a very good communicator. I booked at the last minute, yet I was contacted with updates by Andres and his team immediately. Andres is a fount of information about the mountains and its wildlife and regularly stops to explain things or point out birds, animals or items of interest. This is a relatively easy hike, but one should be relatively fit and have some light hiking experience. Andres will send you a list of items one should wear or carry, I would stress one ... hiking boots. Andres also provides hiking poles. I would recommend using 2. They come in handy in the snow.

Hello, we were very enthusiastic about the hike. The pickup service, the equipment, the hike, and the catering were super. I would still recommend that you eat a good breakfast beforehand and plan on half a liter of water for the trip to the hike. For my part, though my English is not perfect either, the English could have been clearer.

A lovely day in the mountains, we visited in winter and did a snow shoe hike up the valley to a picturesque spot near the foot of the two volcanoes. We were fortunate enough to see condors and a zorro/fox. Snow shoes and poles were provided, but not much information was provided about the conditions to expect on the mountain, and how to dress for it. The gradient of the hike was quite gentle to ensure it’s accessible for a wide audience. Information about the region and mountains provided on the drive and the hike was great, really informative. The drive too and from the location is a couple of hours each way. There’s a ‘breakfast’ stop, which is pretty basic. You can also hire snow clothing if needed.

Fantastic day out, one of the best tours ive done for seeing wonderful scenery with snow everywhere covering the andes. Our guide Andres was fantastic highlighting rock formations, types of minerals in the rocks, which animals were in the area from their prints left behind in the snow. At the end we saw 2 condors flying overhead. Would highly recommend this tour if travelling solo or in a group.

Dress in layers that are easy to remove/put on. The hike was absolutely beautiful and the guides were great in taking rests/breaks throughout the climb. Each hiker is best off carrying their own backpacks to have water/electrolytes for the day.

In talking with friends about our trip to Chile we've referenced "when we were in the Andes" so many times because of the wonderful experience we had on this hike. The views and scenery were breath taking. We're in shape and in our 70's and didn't have a problem with the altitude, sun and 4.5 mile hike, but others did so go prepared. The young guides were experienced and very safety focused. The extra stop on the way back to Santiago for Wine and a wonderful charcuterie board and deserts was the cherry on top of a very remember able day in Chile.

Amazing hike with beautiful views of the volcano. Excellent tour guide who pointed out interesting features and knew the best photo opportunities.
