Dieser Park ist einer der ältesten in Almaty. Hier befindet sich die Kathedrale der Hl. Himmelfahrt (Almatys älteste noch erhaltene Kathedrale), das kultigste Gebäude der Stadt. Im Park finden Sie auch das Denkmal für den Zweiten Weltkrieg und das Denkmal für den Krieg in Afghanistan, das der Erinnerung an Kämpfer gewidmet ist, die für die Freiheit und Unabhängigkeit des Landes gestorben sind
Der nächste Halt ist der Zelenyi Bazar (Grüner Bazar). Historisch gesehen zog dieser Bazar die Einwohner der Stadt an, um Lebensmittel einzukaufen, Handel zu treiben und sich über die Stadt zu unterhalten. Heute ist Green Bazar ein Muss in Almaty. Frische Produkte, authentische kasachische Gerichte, Trockenfrüchte und natürlich Fleisch sind nur einige Gründe, diesen authentischen Ort zu erleben
Die Arbat Street ist die Haupteinkaufsstraße von Almaty, die Sie am besten zu Fuß erkunden können. Während Sie nach unten gehen, können Sie eine Vielzahl von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants entdecken. Um es noch schöner zu machen, sind in der Arbat-Straße Springbrunnen-Skulpturen ausgestellt. Lokale Künstler und Handwerker verkaufen ihre Meisterwerke.
Die Panfilov-Straße ist eine weitere wunderschöne Fußgängerzone, in der Sie in ein echtes Almaty-Sprite eintauchen können. Auf dem Weg dorthin werden Sie mit den Meisterwerken der sowjetischen Architektur bekannt gemacht. Darüber hinaus ist es ein beliebter Ort für Straßenkünstler, sodass Live-Musik und Straßenaufführungen Ihre Reise begleiten.
Das Opern- und Balletttheater ist der Endpunkt Ihrer Reise. Das Abai Theater befindet sich in der Kabanbai Batyr Street. die auch die Broadway Street von Almaty genannt wird, aufgrund ihrer zentralen Lage, kulturellen Bedeutung, gemütlichen Restaurants.

Although it was hot, the tour was really enjoyable, interesting and informative. The tour guide certainly knew his stuff and provided a wealth of historical and cultural information about Almaty and Kazakhstan in general. Also, there was interesting info provided on the sites and streets that we saw. I am glad we attended this tour.
Beautiful city. It was the capital. Picturesque and nostalgic .Beautiful parks and walks. Orthodox churches. Nice typical restaurants. There's the chocolate factory where you can shop and the instrument museum
Guide was able to really provide solid informed information about the history across all aspects. It was a good introduction to the country and helped pull the threads together from my visit to the museum. He made this a personalised tour and we covered quite a lot of highlights! This is good if you don’t have a lot of time or want to take a deeper dive into history and key differences in culture and some regions of Kazakhstan!
Great introduction to Almaty! Chingis was an excellent guide - he introduced us to the history, architecture and culture of the city. Although an Almaty local, his English was flawless. We would highly recommend this tour!
Chingis was my tour guide & was in a small group. Chingis was very good at explaining the history & was very knowledgeable. The Cathedral was very interesting & getting to see amazing architecture. We got to see Kazakhstan army practicing their drill. The statues were amazing. There is so much history I learnt. I would highly recommend this tour !
