Koktobe bietet den besten Panoramablick auf Almaty und die Berge dahinter. Auf der Spitze, wo Sie einen kleinen Vergnügungspark, Cafés und den legendären Koktobe Fernsehturm finden, einer der höchsten Türme der Welt. Der Kok-Tobe Fernsehturm ist ein Fernseh- und Rundfunkturm in Almaty, Kasachstan, der zwischen 1975 und 1983 erbaut wurde. Inbetriebnahmedatum: 1. Juni 1984. Der Turm ist das zweithöchste freistehende Bauwerk in Kasachstan und das 41. höchste der Welt (zum Zeitpunkt der Inbetriebnahme neunthöchster der Welt) und der vierthöchste Fernsehturm der Welt zum Zeitpunkt der Inbetriebnahme. Der Turm befindet sich unterhalb des Gipfels des Mount Kok-Tobe, südöstlich des Stadtzentrums. Turmhöhe: 371,5 m. Turmhöhe über dem Meeresspiegel: 1.452 m (zusammen mit Mount Kok-Tobe).

Our tour guide Zhanna was fantastic, very friendly and professional. Everything was top-notch organized, and we were very well informed.
It's a nice experience to walk a cross Almaty, from top in snow mountain until down town, what a wonderfull day
Too expensive but I did not enjoy. I should have just done a DIY. You have to message the tour operator's WhatsApp to know where the actual meeting point is. Additionally, the instruction via WhatsApp mentioned that the tour bus would easily recognisable but it wasn't the case at all. I had to ask the driver if he was driving for JoinMe Asia. Most of us were earlier than the tour guide. Overall, the itinerary was also lackluster. No free bottle of water unlike the other tour operators, and no hotel pick-up.
Slow and long but definitely worthwhile the trip. Almaty is spread out and has so much to offer. On this trip, you find out about so many facets of this city. From 3200 metres altitude to the beautiful cathedral. Deniz our guide was fantastic and bright and able to explain it all.
We booked the tour at night for the next day morning but The tour operator did not connect with us at all. The tour operator did not show up at the pick up location. He did not even bothered to connect us, call us or reply us on app or reply to the Viator executives also. He left us and took our money and on top of that the app executives denied our refund citing that the tour operator has rejected the refund. How the culprit is allowed to pass judgement on his own wrongdoings. It’s extremely pathetic to waste our day in the hope of this tour. Better to opt for any other good tour operator.
Tour price was equivalent to worth trip! No regrets everything was set and perfect. I highly suggest to get a private tour no hassle and smooth travel only.
