Genießen Sie die Verkostung von drei Weinsorten in jedem Weinberg, während Sie mehr über Weinaromen und wie Sie besser degustieren lernen. Steigen Sie dann auf den höchsten Gipfel der Algarve im Süden Portugals. Genießen Sie ein Mittagessen oder Abendessen mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang an der Küste in einem Bergrestaurant mit einigen der besten Portugiesischen Spezialitäten und einem Panoramablick über die Algarve.

Das Hotel liegt an der Nordgrenze von Portimão und Alvor. Mit dem großen Berg Monchique, der die Aussicht in den Weinbergen dominiert, bietet dieses große Anwesen auch Anbauflächen für Korkeichen, Weizenfelder und Orangenbäume. Der seit 1865 in Familienbesitz befindliche Betrieb, der seit langer Zeit Weintrauben herstellt, baute 1999 sein modernes Weingut und war der erste Betrieb, der zertifizierte Herkunftsbezeichnungen für Weine an der Algarve herstellte. Auf der Promenade, im Laden oder an den Eichenfässern zeigt sich die Tradition dieses Familiengutes.
Das Hotel liegt im Norden von Portimão, bereits im Landkreis Silves. Es handelt sich um eine exklusive Weinfarm, die nördlichste in der Region, direkt am Beginn des Monchique-Gebirges. Im Besitz eines portugiesisch-französischen Paares, das sich in Bordeaux kennengelernt hat, wo er geboren und aufgewachsen ist, umgeben vom Einfluss des Weins. Sie zogen zu Beginn des Jahrhunderts in die Region, um dieses Projekt von Null an zu beginnen. An den Hängen des Odelouca-Flusses Vlley pflanzten sie ihre Weinberge und bauten ein kleines, aber gut ausgestattetes Weingut, in dem sich auch ein Verkostungsraum, ein Fassraum und ein Labor befinden.

This tour is a must! From start to finish, Fabio was so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating for me and our group. The wineries were beautiful and the wine was very good! The scenery along the way was amazing. The lunch at the top of the mountain was quite an experience! Would def recommend!

Our guide Fabio was very informative before the trip answering my queries promptly . On the the day he was very knowledgeable about the wine making process, Both wineries were quite different from each other . Fabio was helpful, knowledgeable, and comfortable to be around throughout the day. The van is also comfortable and air conditioned. We both get carsick and had no issues even going up and down the mountain. There were two of us, so we did one premium tasting and one regular tasting at each Quinta, which was a fun way to try more of the wines. Driving up to Monchique was very beautiful, and you get to see the cork forest on the way up. We went to O Luar da Foia, where we both tried black pork. This is a LARGE amount of food, so go hungry, because it is delicious! Overall, this was a wonderful experience. Fabio is very patient and personable, and answered all of our questions. The wine and food were delicious. Fabio’s recommendations were great. Don’t skip this!

This is an intimate wine tasting and learning experience that Fabio has curated. We learned so much about the history of Algarve wine production through modern day, and simply relaxed and enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and welcoming spirit of the residents in this region.
