2-stündige Kajakfahrt durch die Meereshöhlen von Benagil

Did a 2 hour Kayak tour through several of the Benagil caves. We were a small group of just 4 boats with a guide. Our guide was really passionate about the caves and their history. There was time to take a swim during the tour as well. The meeting point was at the company office about 150m from the beach and we were able to store valuables in a locker. You get a drybag for anything you want to take with you on the kayak and you can also rent or buy a waterproof phone pouch (5 euros to rent, 10 euros to buy when we visited). There is a decent sized car park about 50m further up the hill (3 euros when we visited).

Excellent tour, small group. There was no rush and we really had the time to explore the caves. One of the peddles snapped in two pieces. A rescue boat was passing by and took us back to shore. Overall a 5 out 5 experience.

We booked the trip spontaneously and were turned away by other providers because they were already fully booked. We then booked a 2-hour trip and it was really great. Clara was a great guide. We were a small group of maybe 5 boats and, despite the crowds on the water, had a cool, private atmosphere.

Very beautiful place to see! However, it is extremely touristy, packed with people and kayak groups visiting the caves. Arrive well in advance, the parking lots are full and you have to park far away. Nothing to complain about regarding the company!

Wow amazing experience for the money! Well worth it! It was amazing going into all of the caves. Our guide was awesome, I recommend this tour for anyone traveling in the area.

Excellent experience with Benagil Kayaks. David our guide was brilliant and very informative throughout. We were a small group of only 3 kayaks which was brilliant as we moved quickly between caves and beaches not having to wait on multiple other kayaks. Luckily we were there during low tide so were able to enter Pirate's cave and get onto the beach (not possible at high tide). Parking in the area is pretty crazy, we booked the 10am trip and were able to get a space in the large paid carpark nearby. When we returned to the beach at 12pm it was an awful lot busier. Would recommend an early morning trip, especially with children. Highly recommend booking with Benagil Kayaks.

Absolutely brilliant kayak tour of the Benagil Caves! 🌊🛶 The staff were really friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable, and the views were absolutely amazing. Getting to explore the caves from the water was definitely a highlight of our trip. I’d definitely recommend going early if you can, though! The traffic on both the sea and the roads gets really, really busy later in the day, so an early start makes the experience much more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Go in flip-flops and not in sneakers Our guide (Lara) was very competent and very nice. It is very important, if it is in high season, to book an early time because otherwise there is a large influx of boats. It is very beautiful because they take you through the caves.

Great tour with so many caves and swimming. Loved it. Tour guide was fun and so knowledgeable. Would def do it again!!
