Die Galata-Brücke (Galata Köprüsü) ist eine 490 Meter lange Zugbrücke über die Mündung des Goldenen Horns, die das alte Istanbul mit seinem moderneren Stadtteil verbindet.
Der im 19. Jahrhundert erbaute Dolmabahçe-Palast ist einer der prächtigsten Paläste der Welt. Es war das Verwaltungszentrum des späten Osmanischen Reiches, in dem der letzte osmanische Sultan residierte. Nach der Gründung der Türkischen Republik in Ankara verlegte Mustafa Kemal Atatürk alle Regierungsfunktionen in die junge Hauptstadt; bei seinen Besuchen in Istanbul bewohnte Atatürk jedoch lediglich ein kleines Zimmer im Dolmabahçe-Palast. Er blieb dort, empfing seine ausländischen Gäste und schuf einen praktischen Veranstaltungsort für nationale, historische und sprachwissenschaftliche Kongresse sowie für internationale Konferenzen.
Von der Bosporus-Rundfahrt aus betrachtet gleicht die Küste auf der europäischen Seite einer Aneinanderreihung von Dörfern, von denen jedes seinen eigenen Charakter und seine eigenen Sehenswürdigkeiten hat – und genau das war es auch. Ortaköy liegt zwischen dem bodenständigen Beşiktaş und dem schicken Kuruçeşme und macht genau das, was sein Name vermuten lässt: Es positioniert sich irgendwo in der Mitte (orta köy bedeutet auf Türkisch „mittleres Dorf“).
Die Bosporus-Brücke, in den letzten Jahren auch als „Brücke der Märtyrer des 15. Juli“ bekannt, gehört zusammen mit der Sultan-Mehmed-Brücke und der Sultan-Selim-Brücke zu den berühmtesten Sehenswürdigkeiten Istanbuls und ist eine der drei Hängebrücken über den Bosporus. Sie erstreckt sich über eine Länge von 1.560 Metern und verbindet den europäischen mit dem asiatischen Kontinent.
Die Festung Rumeli (Rumeli Hisarı) ist eine osmanische Festung aus dem Jahr 1452. Sie wurde vom osmanischen Sultan Mehmed II. (Mehmed der Eroberer) zur Vorbereitung der Eroberung Konstantinopels erbaut. Die Burg liegt am Ufer des Bosporus an dessen schmalster Stelle, die etwa 660 Meter breit ist.
Dieser Palast im neobarocken Stil, der über 24 Zimmer, 6 Säle und ein türkisches Bad verfügt, wurde als Sommerresidenz, als Palast für die osmanischen Sultane, erbaut.
Der Jungfrauenturm (türkisch: Kız Kulesi), der seit der mittelalterlichen byzantinischen Zeit auch als Leanderturm (Turm des Leandros) bekannt ist, ist ein Turm auf einer kleinen Insel am südlichen Eingang des Bosporus, 200 m vom Ufer des Stadtteils Üsküdar in Istanbul entfernt. Es ist eine der beliebtesten Sehenswürdigkeiten und Denkmäler der Stadt und blickt auf eine über zweitausendjährige Geschichte zurück.

Chaotic. I never trust Viator again. Little and bad information. They have a chat at They don't answer and phones they don't answer. They changed our meeting point twice. Chaotic traffic and we arrived very fair, so we tried to talk to them directly. They wouldn't answer the phone. We went straight to the jetty and there was no boat there. We managed to figure out on our own that that ship wasn't sailing off that pier. We missed the boat, dinner and patience. The Turkish operator does not want to be responsible for the money. A disgrace

It’s just as advertised. No bad surprises. Price was right compared to others. The people on the boat worked hard to make sure you have a good time. Food was pretty good too! Great value for the price. Also, I was having a problem with the transportation and the woman from Nova was very kind and worked things out perfectly. I wish I had her name. She man’s the WhatsApp account.

A worthwhile cruise when you are in Istanbul. Food was so-so. What was entertaining was the turkish show and dance party. Overall, it was a good experience. Beware of pickpockets when you end your Bhosporus Dinner cruise. As you aligr from the ship and walk out to the pathway, avoid walking among the crowds. You will be slowed down and ppl will come very very close to u and you wont know when you get picked as you will dazzle and focus on getting to your hotel.

Very well organised cruise , nicely set table with three course dinner . Had a choice of main meal 🤙great. Could buy alcoholic drinks to make it more enjoyable.

Good show, but it didn't look good and if you got up to watch or record you were caught (the waiters all in front) , hot beer and very expensive as wine..

We didn’t see on the Viator site where we would be picked up at a pick up point. We thought they would come to our hotel. At any rate, we ubered to Taksim Square and a driver picked us up to go to the pier. The boat was newer, the food was 7 out of 10. We loved the appetizer which was an eclectic mix of Turkish bites, the fish had a lot of bones and not much flavor and the fruit was sweet and fresh. We chose the package with 2 glasses of wine each. We told Nova it was our anniversary and they gave us a great table. The entertainment was 10 out of 10. We elected to uber back to our hotel as the bus was older and filled to capacity on the way over. We preferred to go back in private transportation. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would use Nova Travel again.
