The WhatsApp contact responds whenever they want. They meet you at 8:50 and arrive at 9:40, being the first. The driver tells you that it is impossible to arrive before the one who wrote to us gave us wrong information. If a person doesn't answer during those 50 minutes you're waiting, you'll think they're not going to come for you. Then they put two different tours on the same bus, delaying your tour to leave the others behind. When you're on the way to Tulum, the guide explains a little about the Mayans to sell you a piece of paper with your Mayan date. In Tulum, he tells you 20 minutes a bit too quickly and they don't take you to the front of the temple and you only go through one side of the archaeological zone. Running in the 20 minutes they give you, we went to the other end and saw that they left us half without commenting. We were among the few who went to the temple. They drop you off at a viewpoint overlooking the beach, and the crowd stayed there. The food was the only thing worth saving, although you shouldn't expect anything out of the ordinary. The Mayan village was a souvenir shop. They forced you to take a photo before eating with a cement wall in the background. A photo that they later wanted to sell you, and the guy in the photo got on the bus to keep pressuring you to buy it. In Coba, they didn't give us any explanation, they left us to our fate at the entrance with 50 minutes left until closing time and 20 minutes before they wouldn't let you into the pyramid. It was a 4km walk to see it badly and quickly, the guide does not accompany you, the park is very large and poorly signposted. All this when the tour tells you that there will be 15 minutes of guided explanation and 1 hour of free time, which was not fulfilled. The cenote is a 45-minute stop, not a swim. Of course, the cenote was far from Coba, with several nearby and along a goat path. You also had to pay for the vest and the locker. Mandatory vest and the cenote was one of the smallest. In Chichén Itzá we did go to a good one. And to finish, a stop on 5th Avenue that we didn't have on our tour. They stop so you can buy food at their friend's stand. They don't teach you anything, they don't explain anything to you, you could be on any street, and on top of that, when we tell them that we don't have that on our tour, they tell us that we have to do it, that they have to take us all, which is a lie since they did drop off tourists at the hotels they passed before arriving there. Our bad luck to have the hotel after the colleague's post. To top it all off, they almost left us on the road. The bus didn't come to take us to the resort, saying they couldn't. It's a lie that buses come to the resort. They stood still, and after a few minutes they told us we were going by taxi. My feeling is that if we hadn't told them to leave us where they found us, they would have thrown us there. We missed our dinner reservation because the WhatsApp guy told us we'd be arriving at 9:00. We booked for 9:30 and ended up arriving at 10:05, so we rushed to dinner before the hotel buffet closed. The tour was terrible
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!Ruined our day and was one of the worst experiences ever. We booked this tour via booking.com and thought we were good to go but THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! Imaging getting ready for a full day of activity, waking up early, waiting hours for someone to show then the not being able to contact anyone. That was my experience because of this company. We lost an entire day, missed out on activities, had to move our itinerary and spent hours trying to get a resolution that never happened. Sound fun for your vacation? Their contact number didn’t work and when we finally got through via WhatsApp which I had to download because that was the only way to contact, they didn’t answer only text. They said they would do an “investigation” but I have yet to hear anything. We ended up booking directly with a great tour company at our resort and was picked up with no issue. They told us this always happens with online reservations and I consider this a lesson learned. Pay the extra money for better service. This company was an absolute joke and the frustration that they caused took away from our vacation but thankfully a good company came to the rescue. If you want your trip to be stress free and actually happen, do yourself a favor-DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Transportation was a nightmare. They went to the wrong hotel even though I had contacted them on three platforms asking if they would be able to pick up at my location. They said yes on WhatsApp then went to the wrong hotel anyway. There were several hidden costs not listed in the description aside from the taxes they collected. The historical sites were awesome, unfortunately we had very little time in Tullum what time we had was spent listening to a lecture on a patio instead of looking at ruins. Our tour guide handed us off to a local guide instead of taking us himself. I was disappointed by this part of the tour. As it was the main reason I booked it I was not very happy. It was partially due to traffic. Partially due to a very talkative and annoying member of the group that delayed us. But we didn’t even stand in front of the pyramid for even a second, why even go? Coba was awesome. We rode in a trike (cost $10) all the way to the pyramid. We did spend a lot of time in front of that pyramid and the information was fascinating. Playa del Carmen was nice. The food was good. The village wasn’t really a village but a small shop. The things in the shop were extremely expensive. The Mayan ceremony was interesting but seemed to be a way to make money rather than a spiritual experience. Those that were chosen to hold the statue were offered the opportunity to buy the statue for $500 American. Small ones and large were the same price. The cenote (life vest rental $4) was the best part. It is one of the more interesting ones I’ve been to. I do recommend that particular experience. They said they were the only tour group allowed to go there. Overall it was a nice tour. Except the tulum portion. I wish they had charged enough up front to cover all of the extras. I would have preferred that they just say the tour is $75 or $100 and then everything be included.
This day tour is worth its price, which provided professional driver and guider, every including and excluding cost is listed clearly. There are no additional charges without mentioning. The only improvement is punctuality. Many thanks to the kind driver and guider. Despite of my language barrier, I still had a great time with this trip.
They are scammers, they charge a fee and service for Coba that does not actually exist and that costs more than the tour itself. The entrance to Coba T costs 90 pesos and they ask you for 660, an outrage. I spoke to them and they told me that the money was for the inhabitants of Coba and shortly after they admitted to me that they keep it, they don't give anything. I have proof and everything in writing. DO NOT RESERVE! A DECEPTION! SCAMMERS!
Before making each reservation, you can access the information about what is and is not included in the tour, however we are not hiding anything, you simply did not want to pay for the SERVICES, I ask you to send us the evidence where you ensure that the team stays with the money for services.
It was our second trip, the staff was also very attentive and they taught us many things about the Mayan culture, on this tour the guide Daniel was with us, who knows a lot, it is interesting to know about other cultures.
The tour was incredible, the driver picked us up punctually and very early, since it is a great tour, Pedro was our guide, we were able to see Tulum, and the Mayan village is sensational, I would take the tour again, thanks for the experience.
The Entire cost of the trip is not disclosed. I was asked to pay additional fees in cash higher than the display price. They should include all the fees upfront no gimmick.
The Trip Advisor price is not the end, you are charged USD$33, plus tax, it is almost double. Other pages suit you
Beautiful trip, the driver Daniel picked us up very punctually at our hotel, on the way they gave us our box lunch, very tasty, something to endure the road, the guide José was telling us about the activities we were going to do, I was excited to arrive, the food is really very delicious, TULUM and COBA are unique, you have to visit them.
