3 Tage Winter Südküste & Golden Circle mit Blue Ice Cave

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with this company was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share it. We booked this tour specifically because it was advertised as a “small group” experience. My wife and I requested a hotel pickup, but were instructed to meet at a nearby bus stop — a 5–10 minute walk away. We had deliberately chosen a hotel outside the downtown exclusion zone expecting convenient pickup, as most other companies provide. Instead, we found ourselves dragging our luggage down an icy road in the dark to reach the stop for a 9:00 a.m. departure. We arrived 10 minutes early and waited nearly an hour in freezing conditions. I called the office during business hours with no answer. I also sent an email, messaged David (the company’s contact) directly on his official WhatsApp number, and contacted our original travel agent — none of our attempts at communication were acknowledged. Even our travel agent later confirmed they received no response to their own messages. After watching passengers from every other company get picked up, our driver finally arrived — just as we were getting ready to leave, assuming no pickup was coming. We were curtly told that they had “45 minutes” to complete the entire pickup route and that we were simply the last guests to be collected. The issues continued once we boarded. Despite the “small group” marketing, we were packed into a Sprinter van with 19 passengers. As the last to be picked up, the only remaining seats were a single aisle seat in the middle of the van and one spot in the center of the rear row of four. No attempt was made to seat my wife and me together for what was supposed to be a three-day trip. Only after I insisted following the first couple of stops was the seating rearranged. To make matters worse, several guests did not speak English. Because of the lack of communication with the Chinese guests, we were routinely left waiting well beyond the designated pickup times for them to arrive. These repeated delays caused us to miss valuable time at subsequent sites and stops. Additionally, a number of them repeatedly crossed barriers in the nature preserves, trampling pristine grasses and plants, in order to get the best Instagram shots. Whatever serenity might have been possible at the stops was completely ruined by the noise and disregard for the rules. This was, without question, the most poorly organized and disappointing group tour we have ever experienced. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

We did a 3-day 2-night tour in Iceland. It was seriously amazing! Every single day we were blown away by the insane scenery. Our guide Erlin was super friendly and awesome. He helped us out whenever we were stuck and even took us to some really good restaurants. Thanks to him, it became a trip we’ll never forget. It was worth way more than what we paid!! Thank you so much! 😊

We had a good time going around all the things on the tour. Elli was a great guide and it was a fun experience with the others here. We were around 17 in total and it did not feel cramped. The weather was windy and cold but wearing the right layers definitely helps a lot! 3 days was a good enough time to visit all places without having to rush much!

Our guide Eeli was the greatest. He took us to all the best spots and was very accommodating for bathroom stops and creating a custom experience for us. We found the itinerary to be perfect for the short time we had here. Eeli was highly knowledgeable about the area and was able to provide us with resources and recommendations for after we departed from the tour. The hotel we stayed at in Vik was simple and clean, which is exactly what we needed. The lunch stops and dinner options were also good. I highly recommend traveling with this company. They are reliable and offer a more personable experience compared to some of the larger companies.

My wife and I just got back from the 3-day south coat winter tour. We had Sindri as our guide and he was fantastic. He was a great combo of knowledgeable, fun, and thoughtful. The three days went by quick and it was all enjoyable, but the glacier hike was definitely the best part. Felt like a once in a lifetime opportunity for us! We’d highly recommend it.

We booked this 3 days experience as an easy way to visit the south of the island without having to worry about logistics. Considering all activities and the hotels, I think the price was very good. I can’t recommend it enough! Sindri is an awesome guide with lots of knowledge, very approachable and was able to bring small surprises to the tour to give it a more personal touch. The whole tour is a great experience with many memorable places that we wish to visit again. The glaciar excursion, some of the waterfalls, diamond beach and the Thingvellir Park were some of our favorite highlights. Also to mention how lucky we were on both hotels to be able to see auroras. Can’t wait to repeat with them and see more things and on different seasons.

This tour is an easy way to visit the south of the island without worrying about the logistics, it was great! Sindri is an excellent guide who loves to explain and answer questions and even took us to a couple of extra surprise sites to make it even more special. Visit many memorable sites such as the glacier, several falls, the diamond beach and Thingvellir Park among others. The hotels are great and we could even see auroras right next to where we were at night. The minibus wasn't completely full so we went very well 11 people.

My first visit to Iceland exceeded all my expectations. I knew it would be beautiful, but oh my… it was breathtaking. My first couple of days were on my own in Reykjavik, and then I joined a small group tour organized by David The Guide, exploring this stunning island with a local and very passionate guide Erlin. He showed us all the stunning view points, lakes, beaches and waterfalls. We visited geysirs, hiked on the biggest glacier in Iceland and walked inside ice caves. Tour was done at a nice pace with plenty of time to take photos and absorb the beauty around us. Erlin was very patient with the group and went above and beyond to show us also places off the standard route. We were very lucky to see a beautiful display of Northern Lights from the hotel where we were staying too! I met wonderful new friends on the tour. Absolutely recommended David the guide if you want a well organized, yet flexible experience of Iceland.

I actually booked everything through David And the guide from the moment I stepped off the plane (apart from flights and Reykjavik accommodation). It was wonderful. Every trip was amazing, guides were friendly and knowledgeable and I feel they went above and beyond to give us the experience we wanted. We can’t really name a highlight as it was all wonderful. I said to them tell me what to do and where to go for 5 days and I think they smashed it. I would trust these guys with your booking, not overthink it and trust them to know the best way to show you Iceland. We will be back as we have loved it so much.
