I recommend this trip with friends without hesitation. Our group of four loved every moment from the Abu Simbel convoy with driver Wagdi to the final temple at Karnak. Omar handled all details and even organized a surprise birthday cake for my buddy on the sundeck. The ship was elegant yet fun. We spent enough time at each site never felt rushed. Crowds were manageable and the staff became friends. Best for groups who want a mix of party and pyramids.
Amazing Nile experience. Clean and comfortable facilities. Good food with great variety to choose from.
Thank you for your kind review! We’re delighted you had a great experience with us. It was a pleasure having you, and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future.
I went solo on this 3 night cruise and I met three other solo travelers on the deck the first evening. We ended up visiting Abu Simbel together. The drive was long but our driver Micha played good Egyptian music. The temple visit lasted two hours and the early morning light made the statues glow. The crowd was big at 8 AM but thinned out quickly. The atmosphere was powerful and humbling. Staff member Yasir introduced us to each other at dinner. Best for solo travelers who want to meet people without forced group activities.

There were many positive aspects to this experience. The tour operator was highly professional, responsive, and communicative throughout. When the cruise timing changed, they kept us informed every step of the way and managed the adjustments very well, which we truly appreciated. That said, the cruise was marketed as a “Luxury Cruise,” and based on our past experiences and what we observed on other boats along the Nile, it did not feel like a true luxury experience. It was certainly good, but not quite at the level advertised. The crew, however, was wonderful. Everyone was kind, attentive, and clearly doing their very best to make the stay enjoyable. The food was plentiful, though fairly average. I cannot fault the crew at all for the service they provided. The tour guides were generally good, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our only real disappointment came on the last day, when we felt somewhat shortchanged by not being taken to Karnak, seemingly because the guide’s engagement ended at 2:00 p.m. When she instead offered stops at an alabaster shop and an oil/perfumery, neither of which appeared on the published itinerary, we chose not to go. It was hard not to feel that the time for those optional stops could and should have been used for Karnak, especially since visiting those shops would likely have taken us beyond her stated end time anyway. Overall, it was a good experience with several strong points, particularly the professionalism of the operator and the kindness of the crew, but it did not fully deliver on the luxury promise or the published itinerary.
Hi Guest Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We appreciate your kind words about our team’s professionalism and the crew’s attentiveness. It’s great to hear that you felt well supported throughout the cruise. We also take note of your comments regarding the “Luxury Cruise” experience and the last-day itinerary. We strive to match expectations with what is advertised, and your feedback about Karnak and the optional stops helps us identify areas for improvement. We hope despite these points, you still enjoyed your time on the Nile. Your insights will help us enhance future trips. Best regards, Omar
Worst experience ever!! @ Viator, your platform is good but this vendor of your’s does not meet any standards. We waited minimum (minimum) 3 hours for the guide to meet us up on the ship. Ship moved, family drifted, nothing went as per plan or itinerary. We were late to the temples at closure time. And the whole group of this company (5 families) had a horrid experience. @Viator, this travel company needs to exit your platform otherwise many other families and kids would suffer.
Dear Guest, I am Omar, owner and manager of Go Explore I respect your feedback. I must clarify key facts. That day was peak season. High demand. Heavy traffic. Congested ports. All tour operators faced delays. The guide did not arrive three hours late. There was a delay. Yes. But the situation described is exaggerated. The cruise ship schedule changed during peak operations. This affected meeting points and timing. The ship movement was not under our control. Five families were not abandoned. The tour was operated. Visits were impacted by late port clearance and temple closing times. We handle thousands of guests each season. Issues during peak days can happen. We address them. We do not ignore them. We remain in contact with Viator. All details were shared transparently. We stand by our service and our record. Omar Owner and Manager
