My friend John and I went on the Vagabond "12 Day Wild Adventure Tour" the last 2 weeks of August 2025. A couple I met 3 or 4 years ago had come back from a Vagabond tour of Ireland, so I follow their Vagabond's website for about three years and then finally booked. It was the best vacation ever. Everyday was exciting and we traveled the whole island. We started and finished in Dublin. From the minute the trip started it was a bonding moment with the other 10 passengers on our "jacked up, off roading" Mercedes vehicle. We all bonded and continued the trip laughing and exploring. The hotel were the best accommodations and we were in different destinations every night. Everyday there were choices of what you would like to do. Our driver "Hugh" the red head from Ireland was our tour guide and would tell us stories as we traveled and had many awesome adventure. We biked, hiked, horse back rode, travel on a ferry and saw every thing Ireland has to offer. We even stayed in a Castle one night. The people we traveled with and Hugh made it a trip of a lifetime. I would do it all again in a minute. Book a trip with Vagabond and you will definitely not have a trip of a lifetime!!!!

Nadeeka, the owner, expertly crafted a tailored itinerary that perfectly matched our preferences. The flexibility to make adjustments during the trip, with prior approval, was a significant advantage. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by our guide Thili and driver Pavi, who proved to be friendly, polite, and punctual throughout our journey. Given Sri Lanka's traffic conditions, opting for a driver was undoubtedly the right choice. Pavi ensured our safety, navigating us everywhere in a well-maintained, air-conditioned vehicle Toyota Corolla. We received a satisfactory amount of information about the places we visited. However, it's worth noting that the guide doesn't accompany visitors at certain locations, such as Sigiriya. The agency could have been more transparent about guide availability at specific sites. For travelers seeking in-depth cultural and historical insights, we recommend clarifying these details with the agency beforehand. Our Sri Lankan adventure was truly memorable, largely due to Mango's well-organized trip and the delightful company of Thili and Pavi.

We chose Mango vacations after it was referred by a family member who used their services. Boy, there were not wrong! We had a blast of a vacation. Driver/ tour guide Vishwa was great. His sense of humour/ outstanding communication skills/ tailoring the vacation to our family’s needs. We travelled with 2 kids under 10 years old. The kids were well entertained on the trip. They got soo close to Vishwa. He became a family member by the end of the trip. My 10 year old son broke down when we have to say bye to him. He was too good of a tour guide. Highly recommend

We could not be happier! For 6 days we traveled through Sri Lanka with our driver Hasanka. Hasanka was not only our driver, he was our guide, interpreter, security guard and friend. His english was very good, he was very polite, always on time and drove safely. He knows a lot about the country and culture and showed us great things. No matter what we needed - Hasanka was there for us, like a guardian angel. We had the best time. Thank you so much for everything Ayya, we miss you already. We can highly recommend Mango Vacation.

Vish and his team are excellent. We have seen some amazing parts of Sri Lanka - some world famous and many off the beaten track. He has recommended many good places to stay and is also totally agreeable when we found something else. Good with our kids, good with us. On hand all the time - we are so impressed and lucky that we found someone from so far away that is first class. We queued for fuel for a total of about 30 minutes but the situation is far better than you read. Food too is not a problem. There are power outages in the evening for about an hour but most places have a generator. These are due to the islands main power station undergoing repair and not a direct result of fuel shortages as they still run off coal. Vish has shown us such a range of wonderful places - Sri Lanka is stunning. It has a relaxed smoothness about it everywhere and at all times - despite the poverty here. Tourists are a way forwards for Sri Lanka. We have felt safe with our kids -11, 14 and 17 at all times and would recommend Mango Vacations without hesitation. The main office is in touch every 3 days or so just to make sure all is ok. We started in Negombo, then Sigiria, Kandy, Newara, Ella, Marissa and are currently in Enawatoma for the last 3 days. If you are thinking of coming in September to January, you won’t be disappointed.

Splendid tour we had with vishwa our driver. He helped us out where he could and aranged and planned the trip as well as possible to assist us. Where we encountered problems Vishwa came in to save the day. The kids love hem and he was always on time and very polite with us and everyone around us. Thank you Vish !!!
