Besuchen Sie uns für eine 1,5-stündige ausführliche Besichtigungstour der Yachten und Häuser der Reichen und Berühmten von Fort Lauderdale auf dem New River, dem Intracoastal Waterway und Port Everglades.
Unsere Tour beginnt an unserem Dock in der Innenstadt von Fort Lauderdale, nur einen Steinwurf vom Stranahan House entfernt
Wir setzen unsere Tour über den Henry E. Kinney Tunnel fort und fahren auf dem engen, kurvenreichen New River hinaus. Vom Oberdeck des Carrie B aus haben Sie eine hervorragende Aussicht auf das Riverside Hotel. Das 1936 eröffnete Hotel ist der Inbegriff von Charme und Eleganz der alten Welt in Fort Lauderdale.
Wir fahren weiter an Häusern vorbei, die in den frühen 1920er Jahren für nur 4.000 bis 8.000 Dollar verkauft wurden. Heute verkaufen sich diese Häuser in Rio Vista und Colee Hammock zu Preisen von mehreren Millionen Dollar. Wir fahren am Colee Hammock Park vorbei und fahren zum breitesten Abschnitt des New River.

Trying to reserve the boat tour we wanted took over two hours. I spoke with a man, then a woman whose ability to speak English was almost none. I was booked on the wrong tour. I was able to cancel that. Then I received a ticket for what seemed the correct tour but the meeting place was confusing. We went to the place suggested and found it to be the wrong place. A much smaller boat appeared that held only about 12 people. The one we were supposed to go on was a sizable double-decker. The itinerary was not at all what we wanted. A totally disappointing experience.

The crew was very nice. Boat was super clean. I looooved the guide speaker he was hilarious. I went for my birthday and was given a complimentary drink.

The cruise was fun and informative. Definitely a hidden gem in Ft Lauderdale! Plenty of a/c for us! We were coming from a cruise before leaving for the airport later in the afternoon. The crew held our luggage for us and made sure we were comfortable aboard the Carrie B. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting South Florida!
