It was a good boat ride, captain was very knowledgeable. Prices very reasonable and stuff to do after the ride.
We really liked Sawgrass Recreation Park. I have been there twice now, and I am going for a third time in October. During the tour, we saw alligators and other animals as well. The guides provide a lot of interesting information without it becoming boring, and the whole thing is organized in a relaxed and entertaining way. The staff members are very friendly, and the excursion is also absolutely fair in terms of price. I can definitely recommend it.
Was great! Easy and quick. Learned a lot, enjoyed the view and now can say I have been in the Everglades.
This was a fun and informative ride through the Everglades! We saw one mama protecting her nest, but it was hot and the alligators don’t come out much in the heat. The reptile encounter was also really neat with a presentation.
Great opportunity to see alligators in their natural environment and the staff are very knowledgeable
We didn’t get to see any gators on the water, so if that’s your only concern, that is a possibility. The ride itself was exhilarating and fun. Something I’d always wanted to do. As a bonus, they have a small habitat with gators (including one that weighs 800 lbs), snakes, other lizards, and nice gift/snack shop. Staff was friendly, ticketing and boarding process was efficient, and the ride was smooth.
Great time!!!! My family and I enjoyed the ride! Staff was super friendly and professional! Will do it again!
Captain Disco was our guide and very informative. We saw one alligator which was good.
The airboat portion was alright. I knew the weather was very hot, so I wasn’t expecting to see many alligators. However, I was hoping to learn more about the Everglades during the ride. Instead, we mostly cruised through the water in silence, with occasional brief stops to look for alligators. We did spot one, but only for about five seconds. The exhibit and presentation after the boat ride were very interesting, engaging, and educational. Overall, I still think it’s a worthwhile experience. That said, I think a short five-minute introduction about the Everglades before the airboat ride would greatly enhance the experience. It would give visitors a better understanding of what they’re seeing and help them appreciate the unique ecosystem, even if wildlife sightings are limited.U
Hard to see alligators in the everglades in the summer. We didn't see any on our ride, but did see a few nice birds. Better in cooler weather.
