Reiseverlauf
Stock teilnehmen.

We are two couples in our 70s. We move kind of slow and our hearing is not the best. We visited on a HAL cruise ship and we knew the large bus tours would be difficult for us, and the private HAL tours were amazingly expensive. Then we found the tours on Viator, which were reasonable. We hoped this would work, and it did! Our guide Aki tailored the tour perfectly for the 4 of us. She navigated us through the numerous subway and train stations - buying us the right tickets and showing us how to use them - and knowing how to walk from the train to the subway and back to the train. And walking slow enough, and using elevators and escalators. We could have never done it alone. We did the Carpentry Museum, the gondola ride to the herb garden and touring some of the garden, a lunch (she found something for the picky eaters in the group), a Shinto Temple, and a Sake tasting. We did everything we possibly could have done in 7 hours in Kobe. And there is no way we could have done half of it without Aki's expert guidance. We learned a bit about Kobe and Japan and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend this experience. Being able to take a break when needed, and having the guide repeat what they said when needed, was just what we needed.
Dear valued guest, Thank you very much for joining our Kobe Highlights Tour and for sharing your thoughtful review! We’re so glad to hear that Aki tailored the day perfectly for your group — from navigating trains and stations at a comfortable pace to helping you enjoy each stop. We truly appreciate your recommendation and are happy the tour worked so well for your needs. Hope to welcome you again on a future visit! Best regards, Kyoko
We had a most wonderful day. Our Guide Aki was great. She got us off to great start at the woodwork museum, which was an amazing place. So much history and such a well laid out display, in an amazing building. Next was the ropeway/cable car to the Herb Garden atop the mountain with great views over Kobe. The Herb gardens were very well displayed. Then onto Kobe for the shrine and a lunch break. A short train ride took us to the Nada sake region here we had a great Sake lesson and tasing of the sakes. A great day which was well-paced. Ari also took heaps of photos of us and sent them to us later. Ari was a great host. We would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Aki, was lovely. She was knowledgeable about all of the venues and took us to a wonderful Kobe beef restaurant for lunch. Nunobiki Herb Garden and Ropeway was beautiful, and the carpentry museum was a surprisingly great stop that gave us an immense appreciation for how temples and shrines were built with such intricacy. We were thrilled to learn that Aki had recently completed her sake sommelier certification, so she was able to answer many of our questions. This tour involves a lot of walking, steps and slopes but worth it. Two thumbs up for Aki making it a very memorable visit to Kobe!

My husband and I had a wonderful day exploring the Spectacular gardens at Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens and Ropeway. We enjoyed a tasty strawberry ice cream in the morning and continued to stroll through the gardens. The colours of the flowers were amazing. Then Sunny took us to a restaurant and we enjoyed a Kobe Beef lunch together it was great. We then went to brewery for sake tasting then visited a shrine and then a stroll through Chinatown. Thank you Sunny for a wonderful day you gave us interesting information and looked after us well. Your English was fantastic you are a lovely lady. Thank you for making our day in Kobe so memorable. Thank you!

We did a full day tour of Kobe with Koko. It was one of the best days we have had in Japan. Koko speaks perfect English and was a delight to talk to the whole tour. She inquired about us and what we liked and then tailored the tour to what we wanted to see. She also taught us a lot about a Japanese culture and history. It was perfect. From start to finish. Can’t wait to come back and do another tour with Koko.
Dear valued guest, Thank you for your positive feedback about our Kobe tour and kind words for our guide, Koko! We are delighted to hear that your day with Koko became so memorable. We are very much looking forward to your next visit! Best regards, Kyoko
We had a great day with our guide, Etsuko Nakaba. The tour is quite highly priced but you are paying for the services of 1 guide for the 2 of us for the day. The Herb Gardens were very interesting as was the Sake Museum, which had short videos in English. We had a great lunch at a locals restaurant where we ate okonomiyaki. As the Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum was closed on he day of our visit we went to the historic Kitano Ijinkan district instead, which had lots to see. The travel was via public transport, trains, buses and metro. This was interesting but made it quite difficult to chat with the guide. The tour could probably be done a lot cheaper under your own steam. There are lots of English maps and information available, which we were not expecting prior to our arrival.
Dear valued guest, Thank you for booking our Kobe tour and taking your time to write a detailed review! It is our pleasure to hear that you had a great time with Etsuko. We hope to have the pleasure of guiding you on more adventures in the future. Best regards, Kyoko
We truly appreciated our guide Ms Mizuho for curating our day tour at the onset by presenting options for us to choose from that suited our personal preferences. We enjoyed her companionship and insights throughout the day experiencing the interesting places she brought us to.
Dear valued guest, Thank you for your time to write this 5 star review! Your kind words encourage us greatly. It is such a pleasure to know that you had a wonderful time in Kobe with our guide, Mizuho. Adjusting the tour on the spot, as Mizuho did, is one of our strength. We sincerely appreciate the recommendation and hope to see you back for more tours in the future! Best regards, Kyoko
