1-stündige Daintree River Wildlife Cruise

Fantastic experience. So exciting seeing the crocodiles in their natural habitat accompanied by our guide Graham who was so knowledgable and very entertained with it. He even added an extra few minutes as he guessed that the crocodile might have gone up onshore and lo and behold, there was the massive crocodile called Scarface, resting on the sun. A great trip, easy to find and easy parking. I would highly recommend this trip.

Great experience. It was a very windy morning but our guide made it a comfortable and very interesting ride. Seeing Lumpy and some cute little crocs, learning how hard their life cycle is. Added bonus was the complimentary tea/coffee.

I received great advice from the Daintree Shop in Port Douglas, and booked a wildlife cruise with the Bruce Belcher and Son team. I am a 67-y/o woman with no mobility concerns. I drove there from Port Douglas. There was ample parking, the paths were easy, and the cafe/gift shop had ample choice of souvenirs, drinks, including beer, and light snacks. Graham was our Skipper/Tour Guide, and he expertly navigated the Daintree River. He is a self-confessed crocodile nerd, and was extremely knowledgeable. He steered the boat into places where he pointed out crocodiles (aged 2 years to adult) and referred to the older crocodiles by name. Scarface is almost 5 metres long, and we saw him lying in the shallows of the river on the sand, getting some sun. You'll need to take the tour to hear more about him and other adult crocs who live in that part of the Daintree. I had a great time, and it was excellent to see the crocodiles and other wildlife in their natural habitat. It was perfectly safe and exciting to see the crocs up close and take photos. You must be lucky to be able to spot the crocs We managed to see one big one and two small ones but apparently there were more but we could not find them

We had a great tour on Tuesday of this week. The river is stunning, our guide (Ray) humorous and entertaining and the crocodiles amazing. We have seen others while in Queensland but it was still Worth paying for this tour. Great fun!

We had a great day on the Daintree River with Belcher’s Cruises. There were many crocs out that day. The boat was comfortable and our guide was very knowledgeable, with humor sprinkled in. We enjoyed the experience!

All in all a very good experience we saw at least 6 crocodiles so plenty to keep us occupied. I did this same cruise last October with family from OS and only managed to see 1 crocodile however given the time of year and the heat that was actually very good. Our guide from last year was amazing and so knowledgeable about the river and the species I gave that tour a five rating.

The guy taking us on the cruise absolutely made it, he was entertaining and informative. Loved his safety guide. Saw many local crocs close up. Thought the drink and snack offering which was included was brilliant. This is definitely the cruise to choose, well recommended!

Saw crocodile up close and guide was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Had a great time. We had toddlers with us so 1 hour tour was heaps of time. Saw crocodiles, the tour guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend.
