Waterbikes Australia was a unique and fun way to get a 'lay of the land' for our family of four who wanted a fun introduction to Melbourne. Mark and Laurie are awesome hosts. The tour was informative. The guides did a great job balancing fun facts on Melbourne, safety, and also letting our family just sort of soak it all in. We did the 90-minute version which was the perfect amount of time both in terms of time out on the water and the amount of 'ground' we were able to cover. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, active, and unique experience.

It was an outstanding experience. We came all the way from Adelaide to wxperience these kinda activities in Melbourne and glad that we chose this one too 😍😍 Our guide was amazing and the beautiful view of the city from Yarra River was breath taking 🥹

Went as a family of 4 on 2 tandem bikes. Was lovely and relaxing and a wonderful and fun way to see the city. Our boys (aged 6 and 10) loved it. The hosts were lovely. Definitely recommend.

It was a great experience. not too taxing but you do have to pedal so make sure you're prepared with the proper shoes! beautiful weather. great information and guidance from the lovely couple who runs the business.

My niece who lives in Oz challenged me to find something ‘touristy’ she’d never done! This activity fitted that challenge and was better than expected! It was brilliant from start to finish (we did 90 mins) The bikes were easy to peddle and the sights were phenomenal from upon the water! Would a thousand per cent recommend x

Great fun option to tour the CBD in Melbourne. Mark pointed out all the important sites along the Yarra River, and told us the history of the city's growth. Fun and easy recumbent bike, comfortable seat and easy to maneuver. Book it, you won't regret it!

Mark is great. Advice to other tourists: if weather not suitable, ask if time change is possible. They are always very accomodating. My friend and I had a lovely time, guided by Mark along the Yarra River. He has been patient in explaining how the water bikes work, and showing us the Melbourne landmarks. While we’re cycling on the water, he took multiple photos of us at different spots - making this trip even more memorable. I highly recommend Waterbikes Australia for a relaxing bike cruise around the Yarra river, as well as getting Mark as your guide. On a final note, my advice to others booking the tour is: always check the weather and if it looks unfavourable at the timing you’ve booked, you could try requesting for a time change. They’re very accomodating and won’t hesitate to fit you in if they can.

This river offers an excellent viewpoint to see all the sites in the Southbank. Our hosts were awesome! They emailed us all the best pictures - for free! The bike is easy to pedal but the seat is a bit uncomfortable.
