Excellent experience! Captain Beanz was phenomenal, he had lots of facts, information, great vibes, and just an all out awesome person. We saw 7 whales up close multiple times after short dives, they were being very interactive. Went for a nice chill boat ride back to our pick up spot celebrating with some rum! Could not have been more pleased! Just know that due to ocean spray and trying to track down where the whales are you will get wet, so maybe wear clothes that you don’t mind being wet in and possibly a change of clothes. Excellent experience, well worth the price. We spotted dolphins and eight whales on our trip — quite a haul! We brought young kids and older grandparents alike, and it was a fantastic outing for everyone. Our captain was extremely knowledgeable and made sure all guests were well looked after. Highly recommend.
I had the most wonderful time with the Waitukubuli tours group. From the first bit of communication over what’s app to the end it was the most helpful and friendly staff. Captain Beanz was my captain on both trips I took and was so knowledgeable and fun! From the moment we left the dock he was giving us information, socializing, and making us all feel as comfortable as possible. Tiffany is WONDERFUL. she worked directly with me to be able to arrange another tour before I left the island because I hadn’t seen whales the first time. Even without seeing whales this experience was amazing and I would recommend to anyone.
Amazing time. Jeff and Mr. Bean were so patient with nature. The trip did not disappoint and we saw a beautiful Sperm Whale. The knowledge and expertise of these two guys went above and beyond. If you choose this trip definitely do yourself a favor and request them!
Hello, I wanted to share that I had a really disappointing experience with this tour. It was supposed to last 3 hours, but we started bit late and ended earlier than expected. During the whole trip, we did not see any fish at all, not whales, not dolphins, nothing. I also felt that the guide/captain did not really try very much and seemed afraid of the wind conditions. I was really hoping this would be a great experience, but unfortunately it was not. I would really appreciate it if you could offer me a refund so that I may book the trip again with your company and hopefully have a better experience next time. Thank you for your understanding.

Our captains and naturalists always use hydrophones and follow best practices to locate whales and dolphins, but as you know, these animals sometimes dive deep or travel outside their usual zones. It is not like looking for them under a rock to determine we did not try hard enough. Very hospitable tour group. Tiffany picked us up from our hotel and was entertaining and engaging on the drive to and from the boat tour. The guides in the boat were knowledgeable and went over and above driving all over so we could attempt to see spark whales (which we did not). We saw a ton of pilot whales and some dolphins. Very successful day in our opinion.
We booked the Waitukubuli Dolphin and Whale Watch excursion during our stay in Dominica and had a fantastic experience. The trip was on a small boat with three couples and two crew, which made the whole excursion feel much more personal and enjoyable than being on a large crowded tour boat. From the start, Captain Bean and Captain Jeff created a fun and relaxed atmosphere. They were funny, happy and constantly put a smile on our faces throughout the trip. The crew also handled everything really well onboard. Soft drinks were provided during the excursion and they sensibly explained that the rum punch would only be served on the return journey — definitely a good idea considering there were no toilets on such a small boat! For a while it looked like we might not spot any whales, but the captains never gave up searching. With about 10 minutes left in the tour, everything suddenly became very exciting. The boat accelerated at full speed towards where the captains were pointing and shouting, with lots of noise, cheers and laughter from the crew as they spotted two sperm whales. About five minutes later we were lucky enough to see another one as well. It was absolutely worth the wait and turned into one of the most memorable moments of our trip. The excitement and energy from the crew genuinely added to the experience and made the sightings even more special. Alongside the whale sightings, we also enjoyed learning more about the waters around Dominica and taking in the beautiful scenery of the island from the sea. If you are visiting Dominica and want a smaller, more personal whale watching experience with a fun and enthusiastic crew, I would definitely recommend this excursion.

Enjoyed our afternoon, even though the whales did not want to be seen, we did get to see some dolphins and we did have a fun boat ride.
