Best track made in Terceira, landscapes, forests, streams, fantastic climbs, a very complete track, with some difficulty of flooring, if it was raining in the previous days worse because it can slip. It can be complicated with children I recommend doing if you are in doubt

Awesome! It was a beautiful day and the hike was great! We went up via pastures and down through the forest. The views from the top were amazing! Our guide was wonderful!

It is a spectacular hiking route in which the landscape changes many times. You start on a red dirt trail, then volcanic rock until you enter a forest of towering trees where you feel like you are in a movie. It is not a very easy route but it is totally worth it. I visited on a rainy day and it was even more magical.

Great hike. Good exercise and wonderful guide. Had great weather so the views were clear. Had the opportunity to experience different environments between pastures, muddy trails, woods and finishing up with lava rock trails.

A fantastic hike through this beautiful but challenging terrain, with magnificent views throughout. James was an excellent walk leader and makes sure you are safe throughout. Loved the fairy tale forest - it was magical!

Everything was absolutely amazing. The trail was stunning with an awesome variety of environments. James was the perfect guide. He was considerate and thoughtful, as well as incredibly knowledgeable about the cultural and environmental history of terceira Island. I am a solo traveller and I was so pleased that James offers 1:1 hikes.

I did 2 walking tours with guide James - Agualva bay walking trail and Rocha do Chambre. James picked me up on time both days and he is always so courteous! He gave some history of the places we passed on our drive and was a great tour guide while hiking through different landscapes. He went at whatever pace was comfortable for the group and gave rest for water and photos. The views were incredible! Would not hesitate to book with this company for any of their tours- so wonderful!!

A super nice, brisk walk of 8.8 km through different landscapes. highly recommended! You walk over lava rocks, through forests, over beautiful fields, at altitude and you are surrounded by beautiful flowers, plants, streams, trees and have a wide view in certain places. Tip; don't start this hike too late in the morning, wear hiking boots, bring enough to drink. It can be muddy.
