To dages tur til Andasibe NP

Beskrivelse
Wonderful tour of Andasibe national park. The drive from Antananarivo was approx 4-5 hours. It’s a very beautiful and scenic route. You get to do a day tour , evening/night tour then another day time tour. The park was nice , I was so excited about the lemurs , got to see the Indri Indri, dancing lemurs , diademed sifaka, grey mouse lemur ( pretty much the largest and smallest lemurs in Madagascar ). I also got to see the different species of chameleons , snakes , crocodiles , birds , owls. Madagascar has such unique animals. The hotel was very nice, I wish I booked an extra night to enjoy it. Beautiful rooms , great restaurant. Special thanks to my driver Tuju , guide Shetra, the guides at the parks. You all did an amazing job. I highly recommend this tour.
We had a wonderful trip. Cedric was knowledgeable, thoughtful and friendly. Tojo kept us entertained with his driving skills and cheerful demeanour. The wildlife, particularly the lemurs and chameleons were spellbinding and all the guides made our experiences come alive. Yes, a fair bit of driving but it was all worth it. We highly recommend the tour and especially our team.
Very good trip, lots of activities but don’t finish the day too tired. I don’t love conservatories so you have to prepared to see animals that aren’t completely free but that’s part of conservation.
Our guide Cedric and driver Tojo were excellent, we only had 3 days to spend in Madagascar and this tour enabled us to see chameleons, gekkos and other fascinating species. In particular we wanted to see Lemurs and we managed to see so many including the largest of them the Indri Indri. Tojo was able to mimic their calls and songs and we managed to get very close to them and hear them 'singing' to each other. The accommodation was really lovely, and at the last minute the company also organised a palace tour for us when ours had been cancelled. They couldn't have been any more accommodating.
This two-day tour from Antananarivo to Andasibe was an absolutely superb experience and the perfect introduction to the incredible wildlife of Madagascar. The entire operation was a testament to professional organisation, running with seamless precision from start to finish. A huge part of the tour's success was down to the incredible team. My driver, Tojo, was an absolute magician behind the wheel. He navigated some genuinely challenging and rough road conditions with remarkable skill, turning what could have been a bumpy, arduous journey into a smooth and comfortable ride. His calm demeanor and expert driving made the travel between destinations a pleasure. Equally impressive was my guide, Cedric. His knowledge was outstanding. He provided lots of interesting commentary on the regions we visited and on the animals we encountered. His also gave really interesting insights in Malagasy culture and different aspects of the Malagasy way of life. The local guides employed at each park were also excellent, adding their own specific expertise to the walks. The tour itself was brilliantly paced, striking the perfect balance between travel and exploration. It never felt rushed, allowing ample time to truly appreciate the surroundings. The wildlife viewing was the main event, and it did not disappoint. We saw a staggering array of animals: multiple lemur species, with the highlight being the awe-inspiring sound and sight of the Indri Indri. Beyond the lemurs, the trip was a treasure trove of reptiles and amphibians, including numerous chameleons, frogs, snakes, geckos, and tortoises. As well as crocodiles, a variety of beautiful bird species, and even some snails! In short, this was a thoroughly enjoyable and enriching two days. It was exceptionally well-organised, flawlessly executed, and packed with unforgettable wildlife encounters. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone looking for a perfect snapshot of what makes Madagascar so special.
An incredible experience! 2 long days but packed full of adventure expertly led by our amazing guide Cedric and our brilliant driver Dojo, they made us feel safe and welcome and the only down side is that we didn’t spend longer in Madagascar, what a beautiful country! We traveled with an 11 and an 8 year old, we were a little nervous as it felt like stepping into a bit of an unknown but the kids loved every second of it and any concerns we had were unfounded.
I was traveling alone, and as a solo female traveler who doesn't speak French or Malagasy, I was a little nervous about the trust I was placing in complete strangers. Turns out, I had nothing to worry about! I felt very safe with both Cedric, my guide, and Tojo, the driver. It ended up only being me on the tour, and I felt very safe and taken care of. Tojo navigated the roads like a pro - no small feat! Cedric was knowledgeable and kind. They showed up at my hotel on the day of departure early and ready to go, and it was like that the whole time. They went out of their way to make sure I had a very positive experience. I was on travel for work, with only a weekend to see anything outside of Tana, and I recommend this two-day tour to Andasibe NP to anyone in a similar situation. The park itself was a real highlight, seeing the lemurs in their natural habitat. I also loved the visit to the island to see their lemurs, who are quite friendly and get VERY close to you :). Trip of a lifetime for sure!
My dad and I went for a 2 day tour with Cedric and Tojo. Tojo was an incredible driver navigating some pretty difficult traffic and Cedric was a brilliant tour guide! He really knows his stuff, both about the wildlife and Malagasy history. We learned so much and came away with new appreciation for Madagascar! We saw lots of animals at the wildlife reserve, the highlights being all the lemurs on lemur island and holding chameleons at the conservation centre! All the guides were lovely and knowledgeable and it’s clear they really care about the animals. On the second day we saw the Indri Indri in its natural habitat which was so exciting. My dad and I will definitely look back on this trip forever. Such a special experience!!
Amazing trip! Steamier, my guide was so sweet, kind and knowledgeable. Tojo was an amazing driver. They took such great care of me. Highly recommend these two amazing people.
We would really like to thank Stennie and Sarobidy for being an excellent guide and driver. Overall, it was a great tour and given that it was just me and my dad and we got our own private guides everywhere we went locally, it was decent value for money. We saw many different types of lemurs, crocodiles and other local animals. It was raining during the night walk, but that was to be expected. One caveat I would have liked to know: you can’t really see the most famous lemurs of Madagascar on this tour. They do have a pair on that one reserve but apparently they are really seen and they’re not in the national park since they’re not at home in Andasibe. Had I realized this before the trip, I might have made some different choices. That said the hotel was very nice, the car was comfortable, every single person we met was friendly and the roads were in surprisingly good condition. My dad is 71 and he was still able to do the walks, so travelers should expect some exertion but it’s not too bad.
