Katia was a fabulous host, super welcoming, friendly and talkative. We made pasta from scratch with delicious sauces, amongst other lovely dishes that you can make again at home. It was a fun way to spend a few hours and the food and wine were delicious to enjoy together at the end!

Thank you so much for a wonderful morning. We cooked and ate the most delicious authentic Italian food, had some lovely wine but best of all was Katia! Her explanations and conversation made the experience 10/10!!!! What a great way to spend a few hours in the most beautiful part of the world!

Five stars for this Cooking Class offered by Il Vicario San Gimignano!! Owners Fulvia and Katia have opened their home for a most authentic experience preparing Tuscan dishes. In her own kitchen, Katia guided us in making pasta (without any fancy machines!) , a couple of delicious sauces, and a serving of saltimbocca. She provided us with lots of information about the food and its cultural history. Katia was also most encouraging of two youngsters (age 9 and 11) taking full part in food preparation. At the end, "buon appetito"...a feast of our own making!

We had a fantastic experience with Katia at Il Vicario. She was so engaging with my 11 year old, so funny and taught us delicious simple recipes that we can cook together at home as a family. Thank you for an amazing experience!

This was an amazing experience! We learned how to cook antipasti, 2 different pasta dishes, and a main course! Fulvio and Katia had a lovely set up. Fulvio was kind and patient and explained how to make the dishes from where we are from in the world so that we would be able to make them again. Would highly recommend! The entire experience was lovely from start to finish!

A great experience to do with the family. Our children are 18 and 19. My daughter is a coeliac and they accommodated her needs so well. We learnt so much about Tuscan cooking and Katia was brilliant. We look forward to our next trip and visit.

We absolutely loved our cooking class and Fulvio is a wonderful teacher and truly a great time! Everything we made was delicious and they did not hold back on serving lots of wine. Too much for me to handle, but I’m sure others would love it. Very grateful for our time at their home and we even took back a nice bottle of olive oil with us. Fantastic experience all around!

We had an amazing experience as a family of 6 (all adults) learning how to cook the authentic Italian way! Fulvio was a great host and teacher! He was funny, hospitable, knowledgeable and can also speak in English. We learned how to make pasta from scratch, sauce from locally grown ingredients, etc.. I highly recommend this experience, as it was one of the top highlights of our European tour!

Katia was warm, friendly and accommodated us even though we were a little early! She taught us how to make delicious simple food and we can’t wait to try and re-create it at home! Everything was absolutely delicious and our family loved.!
