Din oplevelse begynder afhængigt af den mulighed, du valgte på tidspunktet for reservationen, enten fra vores hovedkontor, Toscana på hjul (ligger kun få km uden for San Gimignano med gratis parkering til rådighed), eller direkte fra San Gimignano.
Først besøger vi et vingård en time uden for Firenze for at smage 5 vine, herunder Chianti Classico, Vernaccia og Super Toscan. Vi vil også prøve en 30-årig balsamisk eddike, plus trøfler ekstra jomfru olivenolie. Lær at genkende forskellige smagsstoffer og forfine din palat med en passioneret vinproducent. Sjov og nye færdigheder er garanteret!
Dernæst besøger vi et lokalt vingård i et smukt område kendt for D.O.C.G. Vernaccia hvidvin med udsigt over tårnene i San Gimignano. Vinproducenterne vil guide dig gennem vinmarker og kældre, dele hemmeligheder om vin og olieproduktion, og de bedste vine og mad parringer. Nyd tre vine: Vernaccia hvid, rosé og Chianti Colli Senesi D.O.C.G. Du kan også købe lokale produkter og vin til gode priser at tage hjem eller sende til venner og familie.
Turen er ikke slut endnu, da du lige har tjent et bonusstop i San Gimignano for en lille spadseretur, før du tager tilbage. Du kan ikke gå glip af San Gimignano, når du besøger Toscana! San Gimignano er kendt for sine 14 middelaldertårne, som dominerer skyline og skaber en unik atmosfære. Disse tårne blev bygget af velhavende familier som symboler på deres magt og status, og i dag er de en af byens største attraktioner. Du kan klatre til toppen af nogle af tårnene og nyde en fantastisk udsigt over det omkringliggende landskab.

Dario was amazing! The views on this tour at the second winery are unmatched. We loved seeing the rolling hills and meeting the farm animals. Walking through the wine production at such a detailed level was incredible. We live close to Napa Valley and have never experienced this level of a detailed walkthrough. Exploring San Gimignano is a must see. Seeing such a preserved medieval village is a once in a lifetime experience. We did 2 wine tours from Florence with different companies and this one took the cake.

So nice to be out in gorgeous wine country sampling all the best it has to offer. Wine and balsamic selection was both diverse and quality. Ned, our driver was knowledgeable and charismatic. I asked several questions and he was able to answer most of them. Good guy, happy to be in his van. San Gimigiano was surprisingly delightful. It offered something different than Florence and Rome, way worth the extra stop. Highly recommend the tour. Just be prepared for a long, sleepy drive home though.

This was the best tour ever!!! Luigi was an awesome tour guide and so personable. Perfect amount of time of the tour. Not too long not too short. The first winery was more refined and a larger tasting, the second was more casual but the most beautiful views. A great blend of experiences. One hour in San gimingiano was a good amount of time as well. Definitely recommend!!! The 7 person one is one i definitely recommend.
