Vi vil turnere og udforske Saranda, en by med mere end 2000 års historie (også kendt som Onhezmi). Saranda ligger på den sydlige kyst af Albanien, rig på sjældne værdier af albansk og europæisk kulturel og arkæologisk arv. Vi udforsker The Incoming Gate of Onhezmi (et monument); et arkæologisk museum; Museum for kulturarv; et kunstgalleri; Den ortodokse kirke; Castle of Lekuresi og V-VI Synagogue Complex (inden i slottet).

På denne tur kører vi op til (og udforsker) Lekuresis fæstning, der antages at være blevet bygget i 1537, da Sultan Sulejmani angreb Korfu. Slottet ligger inden for ruinerne af Lekuresi landsbyen, på toppen af bakken, over byen Saranda. Det er virkelig en strategisk position, hvor man kan se hele Saranda-bugten, den vej, der fører til Butrint og øerne Ksamil. Derudover kan du også se øen Korfu. Vi vil også besøge V-VI-synagogekomplekset, der ligger inden for slottet på den østlige side - at i den sidste fase blev det jødiske kultkompleks omdannet til en kristen kultbygning: Den Paleochristiske Basilika.
Vi vil besøge monumentet: The Incoming Gate of Onhezmi; den albanske numeriske udstilling det arkæologiske museum Museum of Heritage, Kunstgalleriet og den ortodokse kirke

Fantastic tour of Saranda. My guide was a wonderful young lady who excelled by showing lots of knowledge about Saranda and Albanian history. I also leaened a lot about living in Saranda today. The tour is organized by a small family business. I really enjoyed the tour!

Living the sea 100% staying on the seafront is possible in Saranda, having a very large and equipped public beach with a wonderful sea and many bars and restaurants on hand. Wide choice of motor boat trips to nearby beautiful Ksamil or other beaches and notable points of interest along the southern Albanian coast. Lacking the nightlife seen the flourishing of countless commercial premises with a very young target, even teen!

An excellent and informative walking tour of Sarande with guide Erald, who translated the curators talks at the museums to ensure we understood the history of the city and the country of Albania too. Culminated in a car ride to the castle which over looked the town with spectacular views across the plains and the bay. Half a day we’ll spent!

Saranda is a destination that can not miss on the list of the Balkans and if by chance you happen to happen in these parts and I wish you so... refer to Teatours I think best agency on site.... we were picked up at the airport in Tirana..... The guide was called Gazi that we thank infinitely sincerely because he advised us to lengthen the road to saranda to look at the coast is the panorama that this nation has to offer!!!!! Goose bumps!
