En af de ældste og største kirker i den byzantinske æra og en af verdens perler af byzantinsk arkitektur, St. Nicholas Monastery ligger i den sydlige del af Mesopotam-landsbyen i udkanten af Saranda, meget tæt på den antikke by Finiq. Klostret menes at være bygget i 1224 eller 1225. Det var engang omgivet af en cirkulær mur, som i dag kun er delvist bevaret. Dens dobbelte apsis gør den unik i sin genre, og nogle forskere har fremført den hypotese, at dette skyldtes, at klostret blev brugt af to religiøse ritualer (katolske og ortodokse).
Det "Blå Øje" (albansk: Syri i Kaltër) er en vandkilde og et naturfænomen, der forekommer i landsbyen Muzinë i Finiq kommune, det sydlige Albanien.[3] En populær turistattraktion, flodens klare blå vand kan ses fra en dybde på mere end halvtreds meter. Dykkere er kommet ned til halvtreds meter, men det er stadig uklart, hvad den faktiske dybde af karsthullet er
Gjirokastra, er også kendt som stenbyen, og har været beskyttet af UNESCO siden 2005. Det er en af de sidste byer i osmannisk stil tilbage på Balkan
Lekursi Castle (Kajala e Lëkurësit) er et slot på Lekursi Hill, lige bag Saranda med en fantastisk udsigt over byen og bugten, hvilket gør dette til Sarandas mest populære og ikoniske udsigtspunkt.

It was a lovely trip, well-paced. Even though we visited 4 places, it didn’t feel rushed. We got to Blue Eye at 10am and beat the crowds, which was excellent. I recommend taking the train to the spring as it’s quite a walk and there’s no shade. We had 2.5 hours in Gjirokaster, which was enough to visit Gjirokaster Castle and have a quick snack. The castle is magnificent and definitely worth a visit! I highly recommend this tour.

I loved the walk. Angelino and the Shameful Driver get together. Great explanations, attentive, all in perfect time. Besides the air conditioning, the play list and the bus wifi are wonderful!!
The amazing trip started with the Monastery of Saint Nicholas before moving on to the Blue Eye, then to Gjirokastër, which was a beautiful stone village. The mountain range along the way was absolutely spectacular. We ended the tour at Lëkurësi Castle near Sarandë, which was the final destination and had absolutely phenomenal panoramic views for taking photos. Our two guides, Angelino and Aemil, were absolutely wonderful!

Great tour- goes to 4 places no added visits to carpet factories etc. Free time to get lunch and walk around. No hassle and beautiful scenery
