Ksamil: Mussel sejltur med mad og drikke i Albanien
Beskrivelse
Muslingetur er en unik lokal oplevelse, hvor du vil møde vores dronning, den berømte blåmusling ved Butrint-søen. Rejsen starter på en traditionel båd, først stop ved muslingefarme. Processen med muslingedyrkning vil blive forklaret, og vi vil tage nogle friske muslinger direkte fra gården, næste stop vil være i restauranten, men inden vi er der lidt involvering i separationsprocessen. Hver af os vil bære handsker og begynde at adskille dronningerne. Arbejde, sejlads og meditation i 15 minutter vil være valgfrit for hver gæst. Sejl derefter til en anden del af nationalparken Butrint, en lokal og idyllisk restaurant, hvor der vil tilberedes sammen to slags muslingeretter klædt i olivenolie, citron og persille ledsaget af lokal hvidvin, friske grøntsager, hjemmebagt brød, og vand til hver vil fuldende tabellen. Efter at have nydt smagen af vores land og delt vidunderlige historier vil afslappende sejle tilbage være gennem at se solnedgangen.

Nationalparken Butrint. Vi starter turen fra indgangen til den antikke by Butrint, ved viavari-kanalen (kl. 11:00) på traditionelle motorbåde med kapacitet 8+ 2 (guide og kaptajn). Sejl til muslingebanker, betonkonstruktion hvor vi dyrker muslinger, 10 minutters sejlads. 11:10 ankommer vi til muslingebankerne, første stop her, vi parkerer båden og bliver på båden og nyder processen med muslingedyrkning forklaret af vores lokale guide. Bliv her i cirka 20 minutter. I denne tid vil vi bære handsker og begynde at arbejde, som muslingefarmere gør, arbejde og meditation vil være.
11:30 begynder vi at sejle igen, denne gang vil vores retning være ved Kalivoi, "rigmands" hjem i det antikke Rom, en del af nationalparken Butrint, en hyggelig lokal restaurant nær søen ligger der. 15 minutters sejlads. 11:45 lander vi ved restauranten og begynder at klargøre de muslinger, som vi havde taget på muslingebanker. Nyder frokosten med tre slags muslingeretter, friske grøntsager, hjemmebagt brød ledsaget af lokal hvidvin og vand til hver. På restauranten bliver vi en time, nogle gange mere.
12:45 sejler vi tilbage til Butrint-indgangen. Denne periode er perfekt til at forbinde denne oplevelse ved at besøge den antikke by Butrint på samme tid

Terrible, they canceled on us twice and also just minutes before starting. We organized two days of vacation around this activity and they notify us at the last hour (literally, we returned from a beach 2 hours away for this activity and they notify us when we are at the apartment already prepared to go). They canceled the first time and ask us to reorganize it ourselves, when the activity stated it was completely full until Saturday. Even so, I book it again for Saturday. I am the one who asks if it is going to take place in the morning since they do not tell me anything, and my surprise is that they tell me no again, but if I hadn't asked, they wouldn't even notify you. I find it incredible that you come on vacation for 5 days and organize your day around certain activities and these people cancel it on you at the last minute, as if you had time to spare. To this day, I still do not have the refund of the money for the payments I made (€214), neither of them. Honestly, I am not going to recommend it to anyone and, of course, a very bad experience with this tour operator; booking with them is a risk that you will end up with no plans at all. We are leaving tomorrow, so we are left with nothing to do. So, any Spaniard who comes should know what to expect.
This was a fantastic experience! Soraldo Nebo was our guide. He and Captain Dajko gave really great and interesting explanation on the whole process of mussel farming. The food was the highlight of the tour. Every dish was incredible, the salad was fresh and the wine was very tasty. I would highly recommend this tour especially at sunset. The area is gorgeous.
Due to the season, there were no mussels to pick, wash and eat so the experience was very limited…We had a small tour by boat and then ate on the beach and this ended up to be a very expensive dinner for what was offered. We also add that the tour started an hour later than planned, we were informed in advance but still was a bit inconvenient for our plans…and the boat almost left without us despite being there 30min earlier…so overall not a great afternoon. A bit disappointing given the high reviews we read.

Really good trip. The boat ride around the lagoon was good in its own right, interesting the learn about the farming and cleaning the mussels the great hospitality for dinner.
It is not a sailing tour as described. If you go to a restaurant to eat mussels, it is cheaper. A little was said about mussels.
Hi dear, On the mussel tour we sail on traditional wooden boat, like on prescription. We haven't mentione "sailing boat" if I understood correctly from translation. Normaly when our guests feel that is shared not enough information they do ask and interact. Do not let thinks get lost. The last is about the mussel dishes, you cannot find in all the region mussel dishes that we prepare at mussel tour, especially: grilled mussel on the wood and raw ones. The Mussel Tour was absolutely incredible. My trip to Albania has been amazing, and this has been the best excursion I've experienced here. The captain was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and personable, making the entire experience unforgettable. I can't wait to visit the restaurant and see the captain again next year. The young graduate student who translated for us was a lovely gentleman and did a fantastic job. Thank you, Captain, for the delicious food and the incredible experience. A nice ride in a bun, where one gets an explanation of the breeding Afterward, one goes to the nearby restaurant and can try three different, very delicious shellfish dishes
