Gør dig klar til en uforglemmelig oplevelse! Vores tur begynder i Messina, den gamle "port til Sicilien", hvor historie og modernitet, legender og traditioner, modstandsdygtighed og skønhed blandes sammen. Efter vores møde, kan du gå langs den naturskønne vej, der løber langs den seglformede havn, og beundre statuen af Madonna della Lettera, Messinas beskytter, der byder alle, der ankommer ad søvejen, velkommen. Herfra begynder vi vores tur til to af vores territoriums juveler: Castelmola og Taormina.
Vores første stop bliver den charmerende middelalderlandsby Castelmola, der ligger på en bakke med udsigt over panoramaet! Castelmola, som engang var stedet for et gammelt normannisk slot, er i dag kendt for at være vært for en af de mest unikke barer i verden: Bar Turrisi! Et autentisk siciliansk vartegn kendt for sine unikke møbler. Her vil vi holde en pause for at udforske den kulturelle betydning af de ikoniske falliske former, der bruges som bardekorationer. Langt fra at være vulgære, er de en livlig hyldest til den antikke græske kultur, der symboliserer selve essensen af frihed, frugtbarhed og liv. Dette er det perfekte sted at nyde et glas af den berømte mandelvin sammen med lækker siciliansk cannoli.
Vores rejse fortsætter med nedstigningen mod den berømte "Middelhavets perle": Taormina. Indgang gennem den historiske bue Porta Catania. Du vil fordybe dig i byens rige fortid, udforske det spektakulære græsk-romerske amfiteater (billetprisen er ikke inkluderet i turen), et mesterværk af gammel ingeniørkunst med betagende udsigt over Etna og havet, og derefter tage til den pragtfulde og magiske Lady Florece Trevelyan Public Garden. Bagefter kan du slentre langs Corso Umberto, den livlige hovedgade og de gamle decumanus-stræder, og være omgivet af elegante butikker, livlige caféer, maleriske gyder og historiske bygninger, der bevarer byens sande essens. Til sidst kører vi til et strategisk og unikt udsigtspunkt for at beundre og fotografere den betagende udsigt over den ikoniske Isola Bella, hvilket efterlader dig med et uudsletteligt og uforglemmeligt minde om vores smukke land.
Efter vores besøg i Taormina vender vi tilbage til Messina, hvor du, hvis tid og energi tillader det, kan beundre byens historiske centrum og især Duomos klokketårn, der huser et af de største og mest komplekse mekaniske og astronomiske ure i Europa. Ved dagens afslutning tager vi dig tilbage til udgangspunktet, og vi håber, du har haft en spændende dag med os.

Ved ankomst til havnen i Messina vil rejsende blive mødt ved Gate 5. En af vores chauffører vil være der for at byde dem velkommen med et skilt med deres navn på. Turens start- og sluttidspunkter skal aftales mindst 24 timer i forvejen baseret på krydstogtskibets ankomst- og afgangstider.

We had the most wonderful day in Sicily with Alessandro and Marissa, visiting Castelmola, Taormina and Messina. From the very beginning, it was clear that they weren't just there to give us a tour - they wanted to give us a truly memorable experience. We started in beautiful Castelmola, where they took us to what must be the best bar in town. The story behind it is absolutely hilarious - ask Marissa to tell you the story! We had a lovely drink there, tried the original cannoli and, most importantly, had a lot of laughs together. Taormina was another highlight. It is absolutely beautiful, and Marissa brought the history to life with all the stories and details she shared with us. And then, on the way back, Alessandro and Marissa somehow transformed our tour van into a driving karaoke bus! J'& We sang along to some of the most famous Italian songs, which was such a fun and unexpected part of the day. And as if that wasn't enough, they took us for gelato after the tour - the perfect finishing touch to an already perfect day. If you're looking for a day in Sicily that feels personal, fun and full of genuine local experiences, I would 100% recommend Alessandro and Marissa. Kimberly and Fabrizio were a great! They took us to Castelmola and Taormina. Kimberly was a very informative guide and Fabrizio was a great driver & photographer. He always had cold waters ready and never a minute late! Kimberly gave us 3 recommendations while we were in Taormina - Street food, gelato, and a beautiful garden. We did a half day tour due to the time and constraints and it was very nice. They even had a surprise for us in Castelmola- it was very funny and delicious!
Fantastic experience with Isabel and Fulvio. Everything was at our pace and they were so helpful with one of our party that struggled with the walking. Our sightseeing was beautiful and we all enjoyed our personal experience.
We had a driver and a translator go along. Driver parked in areas alliowed and the translator toured us around wherever we wanted to go. She was very personable and positive. She changed the itinerary to accommodate what we wanted to do all day. Customer service was top-notch and they were very pleasant with a beautiful van that took us all over the area. We went to Casteloma and it was beautiful with a stop for cannoli and panoramic views. Then we toured the theatre in Taormina , shopped and had a good Italian meal. I don’t do too many reviews unless it is a tour worth booking for others to enjoy! Don’t think twice just book it!

We had a wonderful time going to Taormina with Alessandro, the ride was perfect and he showed us the best places in Messina as well even a traditional Lemonade spot. Would highly recommend!!
