Oplev landsbyerne Taormina og Castelmola og deres unikke og imponerende udsigt med os. Castelmola Sicilien er en af de smukkeste landsbyer i Italien, på 550 meter over havets overflade. Vi ender i dens panoramiske torv, hvor vi vil blive overrasket over udsigten på den ene side af Etna-bjerget - den højeste aktive vulkan i Europa. Vi stopper også på lokale caféer for at smage den typiske søde mandelvin. Vores dagstur fortsætter med en Taormina tur, for at besøge det mest populære turistmål på Sicilien, som for nylig blev gjort om muligt endnu mere berømt af den anden sæson af White Lotus Sicily. Under Taormina-turen i Corso Umberto vil du blive fascineret af en eksplosion af farver, lyde og smag, der er typiske for Sicilien. Gå ikke glip af kirker, gamle bygninger og eksklusive butikker, samt fantastisk udsigt til at tage fantastiske billeder! Corso Umberto er hovedgaden i Taormina
Piazza Duomo er beliggende i det historiske centrum af Taormina og er mødestedet, hvorfra Corso Umberto I, hovedgaden, starter.
Fontenen er bygget i barok stil og har sit navn "4 springvand" fra de fire små søjler, der er placeret ved de fire hjørner af den centrale krop, og som er overvurderet af fire seahorses fra hvis mund kom vandet, der sluttede i bakkerne nedenfor .
Palazzo Ciampoli var en storslået bolig i catalansk stil.
Katedral fæstningen, som katedralen i Taormina blev defineret, blev bygget omkring 1400 på ruinerne af en lille kirke fra middelalderen og dedikeret til San Nicola di Bari.
Sammen med den tredje mur, hvis rester stadig er synlige på højre side op til slottet, afgrænsede den den del af byen, der blev defineret som "femtende århundredes landsby".
Piazza IX Aprile er Taorminas mest elegante "stue". Karakteristisk er de udendørs barer og kunstnere, der male portrætter og landskaber.
Denne kirke er beliggende tæt på Torre dell'orologio, med udsigt over IX april-pladsen.
Kirken stiger på ruinerne af Odeon, bygget også på ruinerne af en græsk teater dedikeret til Afrodite

Very nice excursion. Easy to meet up with leader Maririta, who was a delight. She was engaging and entertaining. Taormina was a very nice upscale town with lots of expensive shops and restaurants. Castelmola was a very small town, further up the mountain with great views. My wife ended this very much. Transportation was comfortable in a 20 passenger bus
Absolutely Wonderful Tour — Mariarita Was Amazing! What a fantastic day exploring Castelmola and Taormina! From beginning to end, this small-group tour was such a wonderful experience. Our guide, Mariarita, was absolutely amazing! She was fun, energetic, incredibly informative, and so personable. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she had a wonderful way of sharing the history and culture of Sicily while keeping everything relaxed, entertaining, and enjoyable. You could truly tell how much she loves what she does. We also had such a great group, which made the day even more special. Beautiful scenery, charming towns, lots of laughs, and wonderful company — it was one of those days you just don’t want to end. Castelmola and Taormina were breathtaking, but Mariarita truly made the experience unforgettable. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic day!

Pick up seamless, easy and a huge smile directly off the cruise ship in Messina port. Immediately felt we had made the right choice thanks to the welcome and introduction of the day from our guide Mariarita. Both destinations were wonderful, and Mount Etna was one of the highlights of our whole cruise. A brilliant trip, made into a 5 star experience by Mariarita’s hospitality, heart, and perfect ability to deliver a wonderful experience for a very diverse group. Would highly recommend
This was a very interesting tour with beautiful views. The tour guide provided tons of information. The meetup point was well organized and easy. We did find the free time in Taormina excessive. Nearly 3 hours in the hot August sun was way too much.
We had a wonderful tour with Serena as our guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Our driver amazing maneuvering those crazy narrow and winding roads! We would recommend this tour to those coming off cruise ships for the day.
Stress free meet, greet and immediately picked up from gate 5 at the cruise terminal. Claudio, a very friendly and knowledgeable guide looked after us well and gave us enough commentary along the way to each destinations. He takes you to all the best photographic spots with enough time to relax in each destination. Book the extra visit to the ancient open air theatre (14 euros each) and Claudio will treat you to an opera performance that echos through the theatre- he was fantastic and received much applause from other tourists. You’ll arrive back at the port 1.5 hours before sail away, so enough time to visit the city centre before you disembark.
Great tour guide in Marialeta. My only complaint is when the bus dropped us off a mile away from our ship and we had to suffer a long hot walk back to the ship. Why can’t the bus get us closer to the ship?
If you want a stress free trip where you can trust the company, this is it. I booked this with my wife and one year old and could not have been happier. I had many logistical questions out of concerns that I was traveling with a one year old. They answered everything immediately. They messaged me through WhatsApp and on the app, the communicated clearly. Upon arrival to my cruise port they were waiting right on the dock and clearly identifiable with my last name on paper. We were ushered to our air conditioned van with comfortable seating and our guide Sabrina and driver Giacomo were excellent. Book this trip. Great company, great excursion, great guides, great communication.
Gabrielle was terrific. Gave us a history of both beautiful locations. Very pleasant, funny and warm. Had an excellent day! The views are spectacular!
