Vi vil gå i gaderne i et af New Yorks mest elskede kvarterer og prøve nogle ikoniske slik og skiver fra prisvindende restauranter (kureret af nogen, der har boet i Big Apple i over 25 år!) Du vil være i stand til at prøve nogle fantastiske mad: - Banana pudding - Pizza fra en tredje generation af pizza maker skiver butik - En livsforandrende cookie, der giver tilbage til samfundet - En New Yorker's take på en margarita pizza - En prisvindende cupcake Vi vil også se nogle ikoniske seværdigheder: Taylor Swifts gamle lejlighed - Washington Square Park - The Friends lejlighedsbygning - Carrie Bradshaw's lejlighed som set i "Sex and the City"

Vores tur starter på det første sted nogensinde i Magnolia Bakery, en dagligvare i New York kendt for sin bananbudding og ikoniske cupcakes med i "Sex and the City". Vi vil prøve deres lækkert overbærende bananbudding!
Vi gør et hurtigt stop foran Village Cigars, en butik, der har kaldt Greenwich Village hjem i over et århundrede + ejer et lille stykke historie...
Vores Sweets & Slices-tur ville ikke være komplet uden et af de bedste pizzasteder i byen: Bleecker Street Pizza! Bleecker Street Pizza er blevet kåret som "Bedste Pizza i NY" i 3 år i træk, og har serveret lækker pizza i over 20 år - inklusive deres berømte Nonna Maria skive, som vi vil prøve på vores tur.

Swifties samles! Vi kigger forbi Taylor Swifts gamle lejlighed for at se, hvor hun boede i sin 1989-æra.
Vi går en tur gennem Washington Square Park, et af Greenwich Villages mest besøgte steder. Tag et billede nær den berømte bue og springvand, mens vi lærer om parkens historie og rolle i popkulturen.
Træd ind i fortiden ved Washington Mews, en af de sidste overlevende brostensbelagte gader på Manhattan og hjemsted for rig historie.

We are from Nottingham UK We had Alex as our guide and lucky for us only my husband I on it today we had Banana Pie Bleecker Street Pizza Janie Bakes Mama’s Two then Molly’s cupcakes . Lots of History Information and Alex is very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend. Nice little touch she provides water 😊
Alex was a great tour guide, knowledgeable, and keeping the group engaged. I was rescheduled due to my original date did not have enough participants. She communicated in advance to help me reschedule. I really appreciated that! The tour itself was over 2 hrs long, we were given history and pop culture on the way, sampling different food & more refills. Did not feel rushed at all. Highly recommended if you are a tourist to NYC first time or just want to know about west village.

Highly recommend the Sweets and Slices Greenwich Village Walking Food Tour! Alex was such a fun and friendly guide, and all the stops were very delicious. We enjoyed learning the history (both very old and recent) of the area and for each stop. Recommend going for the morning for a less crowded tour, but either way it's a great way for a first introduction to the area!

We had an amazing time on the food tour with Alexandria! She was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and had that classic New Yorker attitude that honestly made the whole experience even better. One of the highlights was Mama’s Too — their buffalo chicken pizza and Philly cheesesteak were absolutely the best we had. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience great food and learn more about the area!

We had a great time on this Greenwich Village food walking tour. Our guide Alex was fantastic, super knowledgeable and shared a ton of cool facts about the neighborhood as we walked from stop to stop. It felt like a mix of a food tour and a mini history tour of Greenwich Village. The food itself was amazing. Every stop was good, but our favorite was definitely Mama’s Too pizza, easily some of the best pizza we had during our trip to New York City. If you’re visiting NYC and want a fun way to explore Greenwich Village while trying some really great local food, I’d definitely recommend this tour. Alex made the experience even better.

Alex was our tour guide and was great. Definitely knew her way around the city, and knew the best places to get food. Mama's Too and Molly's Cupcakes are spots we'll always revisit in NYC. Highly recommend this tour, and especially Alex if you can have her as your guide!
