Entering on 34th Street, you then follow signs to the elevator that takes you to the 80th floor. After going through a museum where there are displays of the many movies filmed here as well as videos showing how it was built, then take the elevator to the 86th floor observation deck. If you have purchased a ticket for the 102nd floor, there is a special elevator that goes to that level. Views are spectacular! As you then exit, the path takes you through the gift shop.
It’s a great tourist attraction. The museum and observation deck are so interesting. Highly recommend gelato on 86th floor observation deck.
Awesome deal on tickets and a fantastic experience! Steve was super friendly, sharing cool facts and pointing out spots from the 102nd-floor observatory.
We got tickets to see both floors, it was raining at first but then cleared up, still could see out very far. Went at sunset and it was beautiful watching the lights of the city come to life!

We had a great experience! At the 102 deck, Steve was fantastic! He took pictures for us and walked us around the many views. Amazing!!!
The displays were fantastic. Make sure it is a clear day. We did both levels. I’m not sure going to the 102nd floor was worth it. It is the same view.
The weather wasn't great, poor visibility BUT that meant it was less crowded and I was able to ramble my way through the exhibition at my own gentle pace..... lovely helpful staff... the rain came, so I got back inside. Managed to get a fair few photos. A good trip
The building was fascinating with great city views. My problem was with TicketEx. Ticketex effectively stole my money. I purchased 4 Empire State building tickets and I didn't receive them until well after the door entrance time. I got an email receipt but no tickets. Empire State Building had no record of me having tickets so I purchased them again directly from Empire State Building. I understand things happen, but TicketEx refused to refund my money and refused to respond to my requests. Purchase you tickets directly from Empire State Building.
This is an absolute must. And with the priority ticket you’re able to bypass all the queues as well. So worth it. Especially being able to go to the 102nd floor as well.
