Du rejser med varmluftsballon over den historiske by York og det omkringliggende landskab. Vi tilbyder champagneballonflyvninger over den smukke by York fra april til oktober hvert år. Vores balloner er alle flerfarvede og ser fantastiske ud både fra jorden, fra luften og på dine billeder! Pilot Ollie siger - "Der er intet mere fredeligt og fredfyldt end at se verden gå forbi, mens du flyver over landskabet i en luftballon. Du vil se fugleperspektiv over York, dets historiske vartegn og det omkringliggende landskab, mens du driver over hovedet. Udsigter, der med garanti vil tage pusten fra dig! Top notch flight and experienced crew made the flight unforgettable for all the right reasons - topped off with a glass of cold ‘bubbly’ and certificate. Opted for the photo/video package that is winging its way via email - all very efficient but relaxed.
Thoroughly enjoyed this experience - Oliver and Ribs were a brilliant team getting everyone involved in set up and clear down. The flight itself was very smooth with an excellent landing . The views were incredible . And a lovely surprise at the end of champagne in a field ! Would highly recommend this experience as a fun and safe thing to do .
This was on my 50th year bucket list and it certainly did not disappoint. The booking was easy - even when I got cancelled due to the weather a couple of times , all communications were clear and concise. Today I got to go up in the newest Balloon and it was totally amazing - unloading the basket, setting up the balloon, packing the balloon away - you take part in it all!! It is a one stop shop experience not to be missed. As a solo passenger it was fantastic - everyone was looked after and involved in the experience. If you have any doubts in your mind don’t let them stop you!!’ It was seamless, safe and secure!! The ride itself was smooth - the take off, you don’t actually realise you had taken off till we got in the air - we had a beautiful clear day and managed to cruise to 4000 feet. The landing into Elvington Airfield was also extremely smooth!!! After packing away the balloon the glass of bubbly was very welcomed!!! Thankyou so much I would 100% book again with yourselves!!!

What an incredible experience with Yorkshire Balloon Flights! This was an amazing 40th birthday present and from receiving the voucher, it only took around 2 weeks to get booked onto a flight. Oliver and the whole team were absolutely fantastic — professional, friendly and great fun from start to finish. I loved that setting up and packing away the balloon was a real team effort and passengers were encouraged to get involved. It made the whole experience feel even more special. You can really tell how passionate Oliver is about his business, and hearing the story of how he got his pilot licence made the evening even more inspiring. From start to finish it was a truly unforgettable evening and an experience I would recommend to anyone. Thank you for such amazing memories!

We finally got to use our vouchers for a hot air balloon flight over York and it did not disappoint. The staff were down to earth and friendly and we had a great time helping to set up the balloon before the flight. The pilot Ollie had over 15 years experience and the beautiful multicoloured balloon (based on Elmer the elephant for those in the know!) was stunning in the early morning light. The views over York and the Minster as the sun rose were amazing and it was lovely to see wildlife such as deer, rabbits and pheasants strolling through the fields as we went over. The mimosa after landing was a welcome treat and Ollie even helped to ensure the taxi got us back in time for work (we just made it!). Thanks so much to Ollie and Ribs and look forward to seeing you again soon!

I didn’t know what to expect but the experience was such good fun from start to finish. I would say to anyone get booked up. The company are thorough, safe and have a terrific track record. Everyone in the group really enjoyed the morning flight. My trip was a 70th birthday gift - thank you Amy and Adam. The sheer beauty of our countryside was so lovely. The neat fields and animals from cattle, sheep and horses to deer gave us a new appreciation of our agricultural heritage. Everything was perfect. This was a 70th birthday present and I was really looking forward to it although my husband was quite nervous beforehand! It surpassed our expectations and we both really enjoyed it and felt very safe throughout the flight and the landings. We definitely recommend a balloon flight with this friendly, efficient company.
This was a birthday present from my kids and it proved to be the best ever. We were involved with getting the balloon ready for our flight, after first being given simple, but comprehensive instruction on what needed doing. This part of the trip gives a great insight into how big the balloon envelope actually is. The take off was perfect, hardly noticing that we had left the ground. Information and chat throughout the flight was top notch and the main part, Ollie made it fun too. It's ok doing these experiences, but it has to be fun doing it, and our flight ticked all the boxes. Views over the city were fantastic and we went where the slight breeze took us. My daughter lives close by and watched us go overhead and took photos of us from her garden. Landing was all taken care of safely too. Then we were all involved in packing the balloon away before our glass of champagne, and it was barely 9 o'clock in the morning. Thank you to this small family run business for making this a perfect experience.
