Ghost Bus Tour i York

Great experience with my partner and little girl. Lots of fun, lots of information. Felt terrible not to have any change for the tip pot at the end. Would definitley recommend foe all groups of people.

We booked the evening Bus tour and wasn't disappointed. Phil our guide was very entertaining. We were taken on a walk to The Shambles and he told us about the history of the road and then walked to a place where people would have their heads chopped off! Phil then told us a story if what was once a hotel across the road and where ghosts have been seen and to take photos of which most if us did. We then got back on the bus to finish the tour. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Not until the next day when I was going through my photos, that the one I took of the 'hotel' Phil was in front of me and looks very strange, either he is a ghost or there was a ghost in front of him, half his arms are missing! It could be a trick of the light but who knows, Spooky 👻 What do you think?

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. John Doe - the conductor and Bob the driver throw so much enthusiasm and humour into making the trip a great experience. We heard some great stories about York - the Dick Turpin story was particularly interesting. There was a stop and a walk around the Shambles - with more fun ghost stories. The opportunity to ride on the top deck of an old Route master bus was worth the fare alone ! The tour starts bang smack outside the railway station, so it's easy to find. Well worth the trip, highly recommended 👍🏻

This is the 2nd time I have been on this tour, with a different group of friends, different guide this time (Phil Graves) and he was just as good as the first one (John Doe). Very informative, very funny and definitely worth a go. Very atmospheric with moody music and lighting. You get off the bus near the Shambles and walk up a bit for some stories (weather permitting I guess). Top Tips: Sit upstairs - you get a better view. Catch the 6pm bus - if you go before that, the shambles shops are open and it is RAMMED with tourists, the 6pm bus is just right - you can still see the sights but the crowds are gone.

Its an experience that will give you good facts an belly laughs. Best time will be when it starts getting dark

Thought this would be a good laugh, and we weren't disappointed! The tour guide was hilarious, the tour round York was fun and informative, and generally just a great time! Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for something to do one evening.

Was more cheeky than spooky. Stories could be bit meatier and crafter so not as silly. That said, glad I experienced it once as we were in Edinburg, saw the bus and thought we missed out but did it while visiting York. I'm now in Bath and would pass, once was good. Bus was cool. Maybe more fun if multiples pf froends but me and my bestie thiught it was decent, def not the best ghost tour ive ever done.
