Stonehenge, Avebury & de Cotswolds fra Bath (Lille gruppe)

Our very knowledgeable guide Sean entertained and informed us with history and modern day facts. He was an excellent driver, and since we drive on the other side of the road, we were very happy to relax and let him skillfully navigate the freeways, narrow country lanes, and unusual traffic. This is a very well paced tour. If you don’t do a dedicated Cotswold tour, this one is a must do because you get to see 2 villages within Cotswold that capture the essence of the place. We were given plenty of time to explore Avebury and Stonehenge. Bill was a great tour guide. Very witty and all around knowledgeable. He made the whole experience memorable.

A sampler of wonderful experiences made into a perfect day by driver/guide Bill…we learned all about the amazing Cotswolds, toured Avebury and hugged a stone!! Then we headed to Stonehenge for a spectacular walkabout, chatted with knowledgeable volunteers about the origins and learned lots. Bill was humorous, personable, answered all our questions and pointed out the 3 chalk horses. He even had a great British artists playlist for our way home! This day tour was perfect…thanks to Bill for the driving and for the fun!!

Beautiful experience! Not much time to visit Castle Combe and Lacock, but overall I am satisfied.

We enjoyed the itinerary including Lacock, Avebury and Stonehenge. Jason, our tour guide and driver of our van (full with 16 guests) made the trip so much more enjoyable. Jason was extremely organized, knowledgeable with great communication skills and funny. He explained the meaning of several local names and words that came from old English, which added depth to what we barely knew from brochures. His British accent was easy for my husband and I, who are American, to comprehend. It made a huge difference to us! We’d highly recommend Jason to anyone who chooses to take this excursion.

Great countryside tour. Wonderful way to see all eras of architecture and towns. Shaun our driver was excellent! Great detail to his explanations and stories about the areas.

Sean our driver and tour guide had an incredible amount of knowledge about every where we visited. It was a fantastic day, especially the stones at Avebury where we could walk around and touch them. I would highly recommend this tour.
