South Coast Sagas: Lille gruppe tur med afhentning fra Reykjavik

Er du klar til et ekstraordinært eventyr? Følg med på vores sydkyst tur, hvor du vil blive nedsænket i en verden af betagende skønhed på hver tur. Mens vi rejser mod syd, vil vi se fantastiske gletsjere, landbrugsarealer og vulkaner på den ene side, og den smukke skimmer af Westmanøerne på den anden. Vi besøger det berømte vandfald Seljalandsfoss. Hvis vejret er godt, kan vi gå bag vandet og føle dets kraft. Vi vil også se Gljúfrabúi, afhængigt af vejret. Næste gang går vi til Skógarfoss, et stort vandfald, der falder 60 meter. Derefter kommer vi til Vík í Mýrdal, en populær by, hvor vi stopper til frokost. Derefter besøger vi de sorte sandstrande i Reynisfjara og nyder det unikke landskab. Vi følger Viking Trail langs kysten til Sólheimajökull gletsjeren, hvor vi kommer tæt på isen og nyder udsigten, inden vi vender tilbage til Reykjavik. Glacier vandreture er ikke inkluderet. Du vil nyde denne dag med at udforske i en lille gruppe, rejser komfortabelt i en minibus.

Vi vil gå op til kirken, hvor vi kan tage vidunderlige billeder;
Islands mest berømte sorte sandstrand, med slående basaltkolonner og kraftige bølger. Frokostpause inkluderet (guiden kan vælge et alternativt sted afhængigt af vejret eller antallet af mennesker)
Vi gør et stop ved Sólheimajökull for at beundre gletsjeren tæt på, uden at vandre på den.

Afhentningssteder og tider
- Afhentningsprocessen starter kl. 8.30 og fortsætter til omkring kl. 9.00, da vi henter passagerer fra forskellige lokationer. Vi beder dig venligst være på dit valgte afhentningssted senest kl. 08:30. Det er vigtigt for os at have din e-mailadresse registreret, så vi kan sende dig en e-mail 30 minutter før det planlagte afhentningstidspunkt. Denne e-mail vil indeholde en beskrivelse af vores bil, inklusive et foto og nummerplade. Vi oplyser også navnet på guiden i e-mailen. Vores chauffør-guide vil altid stoppe, stå ud af bilen og søge efter dig. De forlader ikke afhentningsstedet, medmindre de ikke kan finde dig. - Hvis du bor i centrum af Reykjavik, og du ikke kan finde navnet på dit hotel på listen, skal du bruge det busstoppested, der er udpeget til din bolig. Disse busstoppesteder blev skabt af byen Reykjavik for at begrænse trafikken af busser og større køretøjer i de til tider smalle gader i de ældre dele af Reykjavik.

Long drive, but stops were worth it. Tour guides should be more strict on the time to be back to the bus because there are some really inconsiderate passengers. Simon P. The "Spicy Viking" was awesome - we had a comedy show the whole ride which was entertaining!

Even though we had rain that day the tour was amazing. Saw so many beautiful sights. Our guide Simon was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and really took care of his group! I would definitely recommend this tour.

Brilliant tour. 10 hours from pick up to drop off. Our driver and guide Baldvin was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and offered lots of advice at each stop. The waterfalls and glacier stops were really good.

Fun, albeit wet day on the south coast of Iceland with Simon P. He had interesting, new information despite our having been on several tours around Iceland over the past week. We had plenty of time to see everything scheduled, but in a different order than the itinerary as he tried to make the schedule fit the weather. We were hesitant to head out in the rain, but we had a great time.

Despite the rain, we enjoyed a full day packed with spectacular vistas of waterfalls , a glacier, and even puffins lounging on the black sand beach cliffs! It was thanks to a well organized tour and our uber competent guide, Simon the Spicy Viking, who was great. I enjoyed his humor and easygoing demeanor. Van was clean and comfortable.

The weather didn’t cooperate, but we dressed appropriately and had a terrific experience with Simon ‘the Spicy Viking’. He adjusted the schedule to give us the best opportunity to see the listed sites with hopefully the best weather conditions. We had ample time to explore and he had interesting stories, facts and histories to tell us. AND we saw puffins at Reynisfjara!

Did this tour with Simon, aka The Spicy Viking. Despite the lousy weather today we had a lot of fun. The sites were great, Simon was very knowledgeable and by far the most entertaining tour guide we have had over the past week or exploits around Iceland. Would definitely recommend this tour and if you get lucky enough to get Simon as you guide / driver you have won the lottery. He'll play for you his "rainy day" playlist and/or the "Iceland" playlist...both fun.

Saw many things that I had not seen on previous trips. Only problem was the long ride but I knew that when I booked.
