Denne tur kombinerer historie og kultur med de besøgspladsers naturlige karakter, der samles til en meget romantisk, sofistikeret grøn natur. Under vores eftermiddagstur vil vi køre gennem nogle af de mest naturskønne forstæder til Athen, efter en kystvej. Vores første stop vil være ved Vouliagmeni-søen, den skjulte skat på 'Athenian Riviera'. I en idyllisk beliggenhed er søen en del af et sjældent geologisk fænomen, der er blevet afsløret efter kollapset af taget på en hule, forårsaget af et jordskælv for millioner af år siden. Vouliagmeni-søen har en konstant temperatur hele året rundt, der spænder mellem 18 og 24 Celcius, og dens vand er brakvand, da underjordisk havvand blandes med vandet i en kilde. Dette gør det til et ideelt sted for svømmere, der besøger søen for at drage fordel af dens vand, der er rig på mineraler. (Kort stop - ingen tid til svømning i denne tur)
Sounion, et imponerende klippeforbjerg, er det sydligste punkt i Attika-regionen. Den ligger ca. 60 km fra Athens centrum. Det er mest berømt for sit imponerende antikke Poseidon-tempel og dets betagende solnedgangsudsigt med udsigt over Det Ægæiske Hav. Beundre de smukke solnedgangsfarver på himlen, fra bakkens højeste punkt.

I messed up our tour dates and the tour company bent over backwards and saved the day. George was our driver and was excellent. The van was very comfortable. The Poseidon Temple at sunset should not be missed.

Magnificent sunset and great energy! The ocean view also stunning! Coffeeshop there good too! 1hr with bus and good views on the way there too.

Fantastic trip to Cape Sunion with a stop at the stunning Lake Vouliagmeni. Skilled and professional driver, with exelent knowledge about the area and Greec history. We chose to do another trip with the same driver the next day. We learned a lot about the area, took beautiful pictures, had a drink in the sunset at the bar nearby and felt safe in the car at all times. Highly recommended.

This was one of the best tours we did while in Greece. It was a magnificent drive along the coast of Athens, with a brief stopover at the Vouliagmeni Lake and then to the Poseidon Temple at Cape Sounion to watch the sunset. It was an amazing experience and worth every penny. The tour charges are reasonable and we travelled in a luxury Mercedes Viano. Thanks to our chaffeur and guide Alexander for driving us safely and showing us around with clear explanations and also showing some flexibility to show some additional spots en route. Thanks are also due to Aristotelis Dalitsikas of Private Best Travel who arranged for the tour and constantly kept in touch to ensure that everything went well. I would strongly recommend people visiting Athens to look them up and I am sure you wouldn't regret hiring their services.
