Vi vil se templet i Poseidon, der dominerer over Det Ægæiske Hav og resterne af templet Athena Souniada. Bortset fra den unikke beliggenhed og den arkæologiske interesse er Cape Sounio også kendt for sin betagende solnedgang og udsigt over de græske øer. Det betragtes som et af de mest romantiske steder i Grækenland. Det sted Lord Byron skrev om og værdsatte.

My husband and I took this tour and it was one of our favorite experiences of our entire trip. Demetrius was an amazing driver and guide. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The drive along the water was beautiful and the spacious air-conditioned vehicle was divine after a day of heat in the city. We stopped at a couple of beautiful sites along the way for photos. The sunset experience was breathtaking and absolutely worth the drive. You don’t want to miss it! On the way back, Demetrios took us to one of his favorite gyro spots for dinner, the perfect ending to a great afternoon. Highly recommended!
Great tour Did two tours back to back days with Panos. Georgia was great . The information about the history we received was phenomenal and made it really come to life with Georgia. She was very respectful and answered all questions well Panos was the driver both days as appropriate he also added great information. My husband and I felt supported and Safe as we were touring. Athens traffic is is challenging and Panos was always safe We feel like we lucked out having them help us with our tours
Highly recommend this Private 1/2 Day Tour of Sunset at the Temple of Poseidon. This was our second experience with Driver / Guide Pantelis G. who again performed well! He was on time, communicated regularly, respectful, and friendly and easy to talk with, knowledgeable of tour sites, shared good recommendations for touring site (and subsequent dinner restaurants). He described towns and city projects along the way to the site with an added stop to see a warm spring lake; but ensured we reached the site well before sunset to enable hiking around site to prepare for the sunset experience. We took many wonderful sunset pictures through the temple ruins.
Even though we had a cloudy day the experience was excellent! The driver was so knowledgeable and told us many stories and facts about various highlights of Athens. Very interesting! He asked if we had any preferences for supper so could pick a good restaurant for later! The drive was beautiful along the Aegean Sea. We stopped at a lovely lake and a spot where we could take photos of the rocky shore. The guide was very helpful with suggestions once we reached the temple. He got our tickets plus showed us where the bathrooms and store were located. He allowed us plenty of time to explore the temple even though there was no sunset due to the cloud cover. The restaurant He picked was wonderful. The whole experience was amazing. Would recommend this driver to anyone as his personality and information about Athens was incredible!

A perfect capstone to our Athens vacation! The drive to the Temple alone was gorgeous, and our guide, Terry, was informative, friendly, and fun. We learned a lot about the area. The Temple of Poseidon is stunning. Terry recommended a restaurant for dinner where we had a delicious meal of fresh fish, baked feta, olives, and excellent bread. Everything was professional, comfortable, and stress-free. Highly recommended!

Manos was amazing. He knew all the perfect places to stop for photos. The stories were perfect!!! He was so kind as to not make us feel hurried but made sure we got to the Temple of Poseidon for a magical sunset on Valentine’s Day!!!! If we ever come back we will ask for him by name.

Do it! It’s a great tour, very relaxed and scenic. The Aegean coast is so beautiful and so full of history. The upscale communities along the way show another side of Greek society. The Temple of Poseidon is amazing! It’s setting and perspective on the setting sun stir the soul.
