En tur til den længste belejring i moderne krigsførelse. Denne tur vil forsøge at forklare livet i en belejret by, de vigtigste begivenheder og kampe, den politiske og strategiske situation og fortælle historien om hvorfor og hvordan startede og slutte krigen. Vi vil besøge Tunel DB, snikskytter reden og bobsledsporet. Fra 1992 til begyndelsen af 1996 blev Sarajevo fuldstændigt afskåret fra resten af verden. Denne tur vil vise dig historien, politikken, strategien, målsætningen og vanviden af den længste belejring i historien om moderne krigsførelse. Hvordan dannede den bosniske hær? Hvor stærke var aggressorer hær? Hvordan begyndte belejringen? Hvad var de værste grusomheder? Hvad var det internationale samfunds rolle? Hvordan forsvarede borgerne i Sarajevo sig? Hvor mange projektiler blev fyret i byen dagligt? Svar på disse og mange flere spørgsmål er i denne tur.

Honestly an incredible trip with a guide who lives his job with passion and dedication. I was able to learn a lot about the history of a country that was unknown to me and which is now ingrained in my heart.
I went on a group trip through my university for 9 days with our tour guide Kenan. He was very knowledgeable on the history of Bosnia and he made our trip an experience of a lifetime. He took us all around the country and told us stories in every place we visited. Kenan went above and beyond by showing us the city after hours, and even taking us on a ski trip on his day off. If you are considering touring with Highlander Adventures, DO IT! You will not regret it.
This was an eye-opening experience that put you right in the middle of history. Our guide, Kenan, was extremely knowledgable and informative from sharing history, first-hand accounts, an overall concepts based on the Siege of Sarajevo. i couldn't learn enough.

A magnificent country with a rich and endearing history. Sarajevo is the most emblematic city I have visited so far, it is beautiful and indeed the Jerusalem of Europe. In addition, the guide explains the history of the city and the country very well, he knows Bosnia perfectly. So I recommend you to visit Bosnia, the city of Sarajevo, passing by Highlander Adventures;)
The giluides are super knowledgeable, and give a deep insight into the hisroty of the war in Sarajevo and Bosnia. Couldn't recommend it more. A must do tour when in Sarajevo!
