Bosnien-Hercegovina led meget igennem sin historie, og den sidste krig repræsenterer en af de sværeste tider. I denne tur vil du blive fortalt om overlevelse færdigheder og mere om forskellige aspekter af livet under belejringen. Kampen for livet var en almindelig begivenhed, og entusiasmen og ren kærlighed til hjemlandet var den virkelige motivation. Dette er absolut en af de mest populære ture i Sarajevo; Sandsynligvis på grund af den berømte Tunnel of Hope og det faktum, at dette var den længste belejring i moderne krigsførelse. På vej til vores første destination vil vores guider give dig en introduktion, vise You Sniper Alley, minde om brutalt myrdede børn og andre vigtige krigsrelaterede objekter. Derefter vil vi gøre et første stop for at besøge Tunnel of Hope Museum, gravet af geniale og modige borgere i Sarajevo. Når vi kommer derhen, vil du se stort kort over Sarajevo under belejringen for at se fjendens linjer. Du vil se 17 minutter lang film og kigge inde i museumsudstillingen. Fremhæv af denne destination er 25 meter lang tunnel. Du vil gå igennem for at opleve Sarajevans kamp under belejringen. Efter denne oplevelse vil du få en kort pause, hvis du ønsker det, at lave nogle billeder og for at opdage stedet på egen hånd.
Efter tunnelen fortsætter vi fra Federation enhed til Rebuplika Srpska til vores næste stop - Olympic Mountain Trebević hvor vi vil nyde en fantastisk udsigt over byen fra 1230m over havets overflade. Gæsterne vil blive vist fjende linjer og fortalte krigshistorierne. Dette er et fantastisk sted at lave nogle rigtig smukke billeder af hele byen.
Livet er fyldt med eventyr, så vær klar til Bob Track fra Winter Olympics, der blev arrangeret af Sarajevo i 1984, men på vej for at komme på starten af sporet, vil du få en fantastisk udsigt over svævebanen, der blev genåbnet den 6. april 2018. Mens du går på sporet, vil du forstå hvorfor sporet er et af de smukkeste forladte steder i verden og absolut et "must see"! Det sidste stop er den jødiske kirkegård, den næststørste i Europa og en kandidat til UNESCOs verdensarvstitel. Denne kirkegård var slagmarken mellem bosniske hær og serbiske styrker under belejringen, så det vil også være et af temaerne.
En af de vigtigste mindesmærker i Sarajevo er dedikeret til 1621 myrdede børn i byen. Mindesmærket ser meget interessant ud, og får dig til at tænke på dens betydning. Det er lavet af bronze og glas, og skulpturen symboliserer en mor, der forsøger at beskytte sine børn, og bronzeringen symboliserer stærk forsvarslinje.

Highly recommended!!! We joined both the city walking tour and the war tour with Adnan, and both were essential to truly understand Sarajevo — an incredible city, incredibly rich in different cultures and history, including very recent history. Adnan was an honest and witty guide who helped us gain a deeper understanding of the city, its people, and what it is like to live there. The tour was very interesting, especially because we had an excellent guide. Adnan is very knowledgeable, as he combines in-depth knowledge of local history with the overall historical events, and he also enriches this with his literary knowledge and personal experiences. Great tour and great guide, Adnan. We enjoyed our walking tour across town on Friday May 8. We decided to book the War Tour for May 9. Adnan knows a lot, born and raised in Sarajevo. Growing up during the Balkan war. Having studied Literature at Filosophy School Univ this altogether makes him a well equipped tour guide for us. We enjoyed it, asking questions too. Well answered. In depth and engaged. We had a good driver too. This tour was worthwhile and impressive.

From the reservation on, Insider organized our tour in a perfect way. Vedran was an excellent guide, very thorough in his explanations and truly organized in the tour’s timing. His firsthand experience made the descriptions very engaging. This tour was amazing. We have had a number of private and group tours, and this was the best. It is a four-hour tour that includes a visit to the tunnel (including walking 100m in the tunnel), a 400m walk down the bobsled track (covered in grafitti, but unfortunately from our perspective the visible war damage is repaired), the Jewish cemetary, and the bridge where the first two victims in the war on Sarajevo were killed. Our guide, Omo, is from the region and was fantastic. The VW Passat was also comfortable for the ride. Omo usually does day tours to Mostar from Sarajevo and we met another Spirit tour guide, Adnan, who also seemed excellent. If we were staying longer, we would do another Spirit tour. Awesome!

The essential Sarajevo tour - you can't visit this city without someone taking you to these locations and explaining their importance. We were absolutely blessed to have Emina Koso as our driver and guide - her personal recounts of lived experiences during the Bosnian war is unparalleled to what you get being guided by someone who speaks of it third-hand. She was also very helpful in providing additional information about the city. If you only do one thing in Sarajevo during your trip, make it this.

Very nice tour. It was doable with children. The tour guide was able to not leave out anything but still keep it appropriate for the age group. We enjoyed the fact that the guide included their own experiences. We were able to use the tour as a springboard to explore independently later.
