Selvguidet gåtur gennem Dresdens historiske gamle bydel

Beskrivelse

Jo Eckardt was extremely knowledgable, easy to follow, and made the self tour feel like she was there in person.
We really liked doing this self paced - on our own time line tour. Highly recommend. We will do more of these
The app worked well and the directions from the narrator were good. I got confused a couple times but was easily able to get back on track using the map. I appreciated the ability to speed up the audio, which was clear and easily understandable at 1.5x. Dresden has a compact old city which lends itself well to a walking tour. What a fascinating city! I just came from Berlin where I had a first class 3.5hr walking tour with a live guide (with a master's degree in history). This audio tour included a reasonable amount of interesting detail, but it doesn't compare with what you can get with a human guide. I took a live-guided tour of Dresden a few years ago, and on this audio guide I missed the fascinating detail I had heard before, such as the many details of history and character one can highlight on the Parade of Princes. If you are on a budget, in a hurry, or just don't want to be constrained to the schedule of a live-guided tour, this is a decent overview of old Dresden. If you can swing it, however, I would recommend finding a well-regarded live tour to join instead. PS I did this in early January. My hands froze every time I had to pull out my phone and take off my gloves to check the route or see the photos included in the guide.
The self guided tour was informative and interesting. We got to see some places we wouldn’t have otherwise seen or known the history about. The only trouble was there was construction happening in certain areas that are stops in the tour and so you’d have to navigate your own way around to the next stop and only then would the tour resume. Otherwise not too bad for the price.
The photos were especially great as we did the walk at night and museums were closed. We got to see what we were missing!
Wow! This was amazing. Such an informative tour which tracks your location and lets you know when you’re off track. You can pause and stop in cafes, shops or the church. This was brilliant. Can’t recommend it enough. I really learnt lots about Dresden and could see the sights in context. Takes you into places I wouldn’t have thought to go into, despite lots of my own research.
I was hesitant to book this tour initially because I wasn't familiar with the service provider and it had limited reviews. However, it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. The tour was thorough, provided valuable information and additional photos that enhanced the experience, and the phone's location feature was very helpful in staying on the correct route. I'd highly recommend this tour, especially for solo travelers!
Could certainly have been very informative and interesting. I thought you could always download the tour and not just on the first day. Unfortunately, today, when we actually wanted to make them, we can no longer hear them. You are constantly forced to download some apps. This makes it difficult when you are on the road and always have a limited window of opportunity.
