Mens vi tager en naturskøn køretur langs den dramatiske Elbe Canyon mod den ikoniske Bastei Bridge, vil din guide afsløre de historier og hemmeligheder, der gør denne region så uforglemmelig.
Morgenens højdepunkt er den verdensberømte Bastei Bridge. Fra udsigtspunktet højt over Elbe Canyon, vil du nyde panoramaudsigt, der er intet mindre end spektakulær - det perfekte sted at fange minder og fotos til skat.
Vores eventyr fortsætter ud over den ikoniske Bastei-bro til den storslåede Neurathen-fæstning, et fængslende syn beliggende midt i sandstenslandskabet. Forbered dig på at blive fascineret af endnu et fantastisk perspektiv af Bastei-broen og den omkringliggende dal med skovteater. Neurathen-fæstningen byder på mere end blot panoramaer. Vi dykker ned i middelaldertiden og udforsker resterne af højborgen, der engang husede årvågne vagter. Men det er ikke alt! Forbered jer på en fascinerende rejse tilbage i tiden, mens vi afslører arkæologiske skatte, der går 100 millioner år tilbage, da regionen var nedsænket under et stort hav.
Efter at have udforsket Bastei-broen og Neurathen-fæstningen, begiver vi os ud på en naturskøn køretur gennem Elben-flodens kløft til den tjekkiske side af nationalparken - det bøhmiske schweiz. Vores rute vil sno sig gennem charmerende landsbyer som Bad Schandau og Hřensko, så du kan nyde skønheden i regionens arkitektur. Vi holder også øje med den historiske elevator til observationstårnet, en Guinness verdensrekordholder for at være den ældste elevator af sin art. Vi sejler også ved Pravčická-porten, en naturlig sandstensbue, der betragtes som det ikoniske symbol på det bøhmiske Schweiz.
Nu skal du lade batterierne op, så næste stop bliver en traditionel tjekkisk og lokalt anerkendt restaurant. En rig "a la carte" frokost vil være en velkomst og velfortjent belønning. Derudover har vi en fordel i forhold til andre gæster i køkkenet, så ventetiden på mad bliver væsentligt kortere.
(Ikke tilgængelig i vintertur) Nyd en fredelig bådtur langs floden Kamenice, hvor store sandstenmure og frodig grønt skaber en eventyrlig indstilling. Din færgesoldat vil dele fascinerende lokale legender, mens du dykker gennem de smalle slugter - et uforglemmeligt højdepunkt i nationalparken. Efterfølgende bringer en kort vandretur op ad bakken dig tilbage og belønner dig med smukke skovudsigt.
Dyk ned i labyrinten af Tisá Rocks, hvor Chronicles of Narnia blev filmet. Rockbyen med sine mange tårne, små firkanter og mystiske hjørner vil vinde dig over med sin fængslende skønhed. Daniel was our guide his English was very good and he was very kind. The hike was very intense for me but most of the group did great. It was a very steep incline for 15-30 minutes. The scenery was absolutely beautiful.

I highly recommend this tour. It was such a special day and a real highlight of my overseas trip. Milan & Dalibora were excellent and the national park was stunning. While I enjoyed all the museums, galleries and palaces I went to in my trip, getting out into such a beautiful unspoilt natural setting with such incredible views & history was something that I won’t forget. The river boat also was exceptional—and lots of fun—headed by a young guide who did a great job explaining the surrounding gorge area as well as keeping us entertained. And capped off by a beautiful lunch overlooking paddocks & mountains. It’s an easy drive over the border to Czechia from Dresden and well worth doing.

It was a nice break from all the cities I've been visiting. I did have leg/knee issue the night before and after reading the reviews, I opted out of the gorge/boat part. Glad I did as fully functional people had difficulty climbing out the steep incline! Barbara did a great job accommodating me and skipping the gorge. The guide didn't know very much other than what you could have freely read about on your own. Replied more times than not, "I don't really know". Driver was good and cheerful. It was expensive transportation mostly.

This truly was such a wonderful day. Milan & Dalibora were exceptional, friendly, informative & really made the day memorable. The sights we saw in Saxony Switzerland were incredible & every one of them was a highlight. The lunch was very good, with great views to the mountains. It was an excellent escape from museum days in Dresden. The tour itself is well organized, everything on time, food was good. All as advertised.Our guide Daniel and driver-guide Vojta showed us the best places being very polite, helpful and just nice young gentlemen. Many thanks to Daniel and Vojta. From our experience: this tour is challenging for seniors( we are 71 and 73 yo). It was slippery on the way up and down. It took us half an our to get down to the river, and a little more time to go up the steep hill. We are glad we did it and are proud of ourselves. So if you are reasonably fit we absolutely recommend this tour

Make sure you’re up for a couple of challenging hikes and dress correctly—good, nonslip shoes, rain gear if that’s in the forecast (I can’t imagine doing the hikes we did, if it had been raining—it was already slippery in dry weather), wear layers if it gets too hot (it did for us). Be prepared for a long day. The scenery was beyond amazing—very beautiful and so worth the long day. The drive from Dresden to the Czech Republic was lovely, so much to see. Our first stop at the Bastei Bridge, was spectacular—indescribably breathtaking views. Our lunch was really good, great menu choices and much needed after the second stop, where we made the steep hike down to the river canyon for the boat ride and the exhausting (for us) trip back up. The next and final stop to the “sandstone park” was really interesting—the grounds were once an ancient sea and the resulting sandstone formations were so unique due to weathering and the passage of time. This place was also a bit of a hike, slippery due to sand, rocks and fallen leaves—need to be aware, but it’s a truly enjoyable and like nothing I’ve ever seen. Our guides, Barbara & Milan, were very friendly and informative—we were impressed at their knowledge desire to create a memorable trip for us.

It was perfect, I recommend this to everyone. A super chauffeur and guide who really take care of you and help you with everything. They make sure everyone feels included, and I always felt safe and comfortable. Not only were they professional, but also very friendly and approachable. Honestly, it felt more like traveling with friends than just a tour. We visited amazing places I loved every second of it. Even the drive between the places is so amazing and beautiful.
