Santorini Volcanic Sunset Cruise

Beskrivelse

We went on a sunset boat cruise and it was brilliant. Plenty of drinks, a lovely cruise to the volcano and around the island, and back to the harbour. We got a lovely meal on board in the harbour near the volcano, and this was delicious.
Dear guests, Thank you very much for your wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the sunset cruise, the scenery around the volcano and the island, as well as the food and hospitality on board. It’s especially rewarding to know that the meal and overall experience met your expectations. We truly appreciate your kind feedback and hope to welcome you on board again in the future.
After visiting the office twice in Oia and finding it closed we ended up booking this online. I’d seen some reviews that said it could be a little patchy, but I can say the experience we had was exceptional. The pickup was ok, it arrived on the time it said and was really clear about the location. We got a nice minibus to the boat and the tour with the main company. When we arrived back we were pleased to see they had arranged for a private transfer back to Oia which was nice and completely unexpected. Would use again.
Really well planned with unexpectedly good food. The view of the sunset was perfect. The guide was difficult to understand and would not wait for stragglers to catch up. The coach drivers were maniacs and at the end, getting the right bus home was chaos.
We bought a catamaran boat trip in Santorini which included e.g. volcano tour and dinner on board. However, we never got there because we were not picked up from the agreed place and we ended up waiting an hour to be picked up. When we called customer service, there was no answer and we were hung up on. I do not recommend the services of this company to anyone.
Hello, I am currently traveling abroad and my companion and I have booked through Tripadvisor many times, having great seamless service. Yesterday in Santorini, we had quite the opposite experience. We booked a boat cruise and spoke with the agency the evening prior and confirmed a pick up location of their choosing. The next day we proceeded to be strung along wasting most of our day getting the run around. Initially, the driver was in traffic then it was going to be ten more minutes, then another bus, then a private car, and finally it was a miscommunication with the driver. After waiting and calling repeatedly (and being hung up on MULTIPLE times) we requested to stay on the line as to not be blown off again. We over heard much arguing and confusion, and asked if they could just confirm if our tour was at all possible or if we should move along with our day. The entire ordeal took about 3 hours. We are avid travelers and would have been more than willing to arrange our own transport whether by bus or taxi to the meetup point, but NST assured us the pick up point was convenient and easy for them. Needless to say it was an incredibly disappointing event and even though they offered an excursion the following day free of charge it quite frankly ruined our trip to Santorini. I implore you to work with more honest agencies who if they overbook, will be honest with their customers. We would have been more than willing to pay for their services but the continued lying has left a sour taste and I will now be weary of using TripAdvisor in the future or ever recommending it to people in the future.
It was an excellent boat trip with beautiful sunset and included dinner. Visit to volcano was very interesting with amazing view of the islands and the sea. Crew was great
It was great experience... We were 5 people including one kid... It started at 2.30 and pick up was moreover on time... Best part was our guide he was so infomative and well behaved.... Volcano island is bit tiring in afternoon but swim is great... Boat have shades, food and snaks to buy... Best part was sunset and then return journey in cold breezes with lights in town... Best part was it do not have food and i liked it as it ended at 8.00 so we could go to dinner... Must do tour
Wonderful trip, fantastic day. BUT at the end our names..and several others, not on the list for the coach. Already sat outside for 20 minutes waiting for a minibus...30 minutes...35 minutes until a minibus arrived. The volcano was incredible...wear shoes not sandals,3km total walk/hike. Enjoyed watching others swim to the sulphuric waters, with swim noodles provided. We opted for a picnic but others used the tavernas. Then a long trip back with plenty of multi lingual input from the guide.sunset was amazing.
