San Sebastian og Biarritz Private Day Tour

We had the most amazing experience. We saw places we would never have found on our own. Iker’s knowledge of the history of the towns and surrounding areas was so detailed. We spent an afternoon at a Cooking Club which has been my favorite part of our trip. I can’t say enough good things about Iker and his company. He provided an absolutely perfect 2 days of touring. We are already planning to return and will be booking Iker again for our next adventure.

Our family had an incredibly wonderful day with Iker on our private tour of San Sebastian and Biarritz. We have taken dozens of private tours during our many years of traveling, and Iker was the most impressive (and fun!) tour guide that we have ever had. From the moment he met us at the airport until he dropped us off in Biarritz, the conversation flowed effortlessly and easily the entire time. So many things impressed us about Iker that it is hard to identify just one or two things, though I will say that his passion for the Basque culture is evident, sincere and was fascinating to us. Our only regret was that we had not booked a tour with Iker for the next day as well, for we are confident we would have had an equally wonderful time with him in the wine country. San Sebastian, if you have not been there, is a beautiful and 'easy going' town that our family fell in love with. Our hotel was in Biarritz (our children had surfing lessons planned over there), but next time we go we are going to stay in San Sebastian and spend time exploring the area with Iker. Iker expressed an interest in visiting the US at some point, and we extended a sincere offer to have him stay with us should he ever travel to the States, which tells you the kind of person he is. I could go on and on about what a wonderful day we had, but I think you get the picture ---- Iker is a GREAT guy, a wonderful tour guide, and just an all around gem of a person who will make certain you have a great day. I purchased a Basque decal for my car's rear window while in San Sebastian which will remind me each day of our fun times in the Basque Country. Book a tour today!

It was an excellent one day guided tour. Our tour guide Iker Bardaji was outstanding and made it both fun and educational.

Iker was everything that you want in a tour guide. He demonstrated deep knowledge of the local history and food, as well as local attitudes and customs. He has both intimate knowledge of the area and understands the broader perspective of how Basque culture fits (or does not fit) into the bigger cultural picture of Spain and France. He was also accommodating, considerate, and laid back at every turn. He valued the quality of our experience, and it showed! He's a natural choice for anyone looking for a top-notch tour guide.

Iker was an excellent guide with in-depth knowledge about all the places he showed us. It was warm and friendly throughout. It is the best experience we could have to know San Sebastian and Biarritz.

We are a family from Cadiz with strong Basque roots (my grandmother was born there). Since his death, we hadn’t traveled there for years and I really wanted my children to know their origins and know firsthand their history, landscapes and gastronomy. That's why my wife and I decided to hire a guide. And the decision could not be more accurate!!!! Iker showed us his land with such love and affection that he made us proud of where we came from. He took us to his favorite corners and showed us a cuisine that we will never forget. Thank you for your dedication and patience with the kids. <p>One of the best tours I have ever taken. Iker Bardaji our guide was prompt, couteous, knowlegeable, and very fluent in English. The vehicle was very comfortalbe there were four of us and I am 6'4. He noticed that we were foodies and tailored the San Sebastian part of our tour to Pinxtos bar hopping. Our experience deserves my unqualified highest rating.</p>
