Denne tur fra Wien til Salzburg og det omkringliggende sødistrikt er en vidunderlig mulighed for at dykke ned i en verden af klassisk musik og se nogle af juvelerne i verdens naturarv.

Om en og en halv time foretager vi en kort kaffepause på en kvalitetsrestaurant Landzeit “Country time” på en motorvej, hvor du kan slappe af og nyde en behagelig rustik atmosfære og strække benene i løbet af din pause.
Din uforglemmelige tur begynder i de idylliske scenerier i de østrigske alper, hvor du besøger den berømte Mondsee-kirke, der er valgt af filmregissøren som et ideelt sted til Marias bryllupsindstilling.
På vej til Salzburg stopper du ikke med at tage billeder af de smukke søer og toppe. Udsigt over den elegante landsby St. Gilgen på den nordlige bred af søen Wolfgangsee afslører en alpin idyll kombineret med bjerg Flair. En af Salzburgs mest berømte sønner har sine forfædres rødder her. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts mor, Anna, blev født i denne smukke landsby.
Salzburg er en indbydende, smuk by ved bredden af floden Salzach og er også verdenshovedstaden for klassisk musik, idet den er hjemby for både Mozart og Karajan. Mozart-chokolade, Mozart-gummiænder, Mozart-is: Der er praktisk talt intet, der ikke kan lide denne bys største søn. Da den by, hvor Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart blev født og voksede op, kan Salzburg retfærdig kræve titlen Mozarts by. Bare vær klar til at støde på Mozart omkring næsten hvert hjørne ... Gå gennem Mirabell Gardens og se huset, hvor Mozart blev født, samt katedralen og St. Peter's Abbey, en af de ældste klostre i Europa. I din fritid kan du vælge at tage taubanen op til Hohensalzburgs fæstning, hvorfra du har en fantastisk panoramaudsigt over byen. Enhver, der nogensinde har set "Sound of Music", vil være begejstret over at se nogle af filmplaceringerne!

Good scenery 👌 The small van was very cramped and really uncomfortable. The tour guide offered a lot of information, slightly too much. Van was cold . The Tour Operator should have arranged for spare rain coats and/or Umbrellas. Also helps to follow the guide amongst a large crowd in a new city.
The annoying parts of my experience were due to the group members, not the guides or the tour company. My one piece of feedback to the tour company is to make the walking tour of Salzburg optional. My friend and I left our walking tour early to allow for more free time, and it was the best decision we made all day! The stops were beautiful, and I loved the city, but offering the walking tour as an option would be better than making it a requirement. Our guide was knowledgeable and very likable. Our bus driver was skilled, and the length of the tour did not feel like too much because of the scheduled stops.
Driver told us we what we where we would be stopping on journey. The lake area was stunning but it was just a half hour stop, thought there would be more lake stops. The walking tour a bit rushed and not really any opportunity to stop for good pictures. Tour was in English and Russian even though we booked an English tour so was a little tiresome trying to keep up when the guide kept switching between languages. Not much time in Salzburg itself. If you want longer time there then maybe the train would be an option too as take the same time from Vienna and so you can stretch your legs more often than being stuck in the 8 seater. On the whole I think you are paying most of the money for the actual transport. Just to mention driver does not speak the whole journey so no commentary on where we are driving through etc.
We had an amazing trip. The guides were great, and we learned a lot about Austrian history and culture as well as the stories behind The Sound of Music. The scenery was beautiful, especially the stops in the Alps.
Highly recommended!! Enjoyed every minute! Our guide Kate was most friendly and informative. Our driver drove us back and forth with safety despite the foggy weather. Danke sehr!
Had an amazing time on this tour! Our guide was fantastic and was very knowledgeable. We had a beautiful drive through Salzkammergut with stops at Mondsee and St. Gilgen towards Salzburg. The city itself was stunning, will definitely be travelling back to explore more!
The tour was very informative, well organized. Our tour guide in Zaltzburg, Natasha was very knowlegeable, articulate and clear. She took us through all the important mile stones of the old city, and on the whole, the tour was enjoyable. The part of visiting the lakes was too short, we just saw rhem from the window, or for a few min out of the bus! On the whole, we enjoyed the trip, and would recommend it to others.
Good trip. You should have a serious talk with the driver. He texts while he drives and sometimes both his hands would be off the wheel

Beautiful city! Land of Mozart with its beautiful constructions! Beautiful lakes! It is worth seeing, making an excursion from Vienna. Lovely and romantic place.
