Vores ridetur er designet specielt til begyndere, der ønsker at opleve spændingen ved at ride den fantastiske islandske hest, mens du nyder det betagende landskab omkring dem. Ledet af erfarne guider, vil du tage en tur gennem mos-dækket lavafelter og langs ridestier, omgivet af fantastisk udsigt over Islands natur, som den panoramaudsigt over de majestætiske Bláfjöll bjerge. Vores guider vil sikre, at du føler dig tryg og komfortabel under turen, og vil sikre, at du har masser af muligheder for at lære den islandske hest at kende. The horses were lovely, the guides were knowledgeable and great with the horses, and the 2 hour Lava tour route was beautiful. Highly recommend for anyone, even beginners with no previous experience riding horses.
Fantastic!!! The women who directed us were super attentive to everyone. They ask what level of riding you do. Beginner for me and they put me on a very sweet horse. There were absolutely no dangerous situations on our 2 hour tour. The worst thing that happened was that a horse would eat the grass. They were right there to help you pull his head up. This is a super safe operation with trained professional guides.
I loved it. the facility is clean and well organised with warm gear to borrow, and the horses in good condition. Despite a large group and a bit of waiting we patted the horses and felt very relaxed. The ride itself is beautiful, the paths felt fresh and the group was split into more and less experienced, so we got to tolt and trot plenty, which was such a pleasure in the fresh air and beautiful scenery. The staff were kind and helpful. A very positive experience and i have been on many tours in many countries.
I was on the Viking tour which involved a lot of tölt and galloping in an incredibly beautiful landscape. I wouldn't have seen all this if I hadn't gone for a ride. The horses are well kept and the guide was very nice and told us about the surroundings as she went along and took photos of us who wanted to. The weather was on our side and it was cloudy, but no wind. I can highly recommend this tour. Icelandic horses are very special to ride on so even if you are an experienced rider on a pony or half-breed you can not compare to riding Icelandic horses. Great experience! 🐴❤️
This was a great experience all around. The guide was awesome, providing clear and calm direction and conversing with the riders while providing some fun facts and info. The horses were sweet and calm. My 9 year old and 13 year old daughters rode, along with me and my wife. I am an inexperienced rider, and the ride was super comfortable, thanks to great guidance and horses. Of course the scenery was so nice while riding. Highly recommend.
We did the "Horses and Waffles" tour, and it was a truly wonderful experience, especially for those who have never ridden a horse before. Everything is explained thoroughly, even multiple times if needed, and I felt very safe at all times. The horses and guides are fantastic, and especially the very calm and impressive surroundings of the riding paths. I would absolutely recommend it!
My favorite part of visiting Iceland! The horses are all beautiful and well taken care of. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and made the ride through the breath-taking terrain surpass my expectations! I truly cant thank my guide, Lenna, enough, as she answered all my questions and made the trip personable, fun, and even gave recommendations for spots to visit around the island! Thank you!!!!!!
We were blessed with perfect weather for riding. Blue sky, warm temperature, and a bit of a breeze. The horses were mostly compliant other than insisting on a few snacks along the trail. The scenery was spectacular and the guides were friendly and experienced in managing the horses and our group. This was definitely a highlight of our brief stay in Iceland.

We had an amazing experience riding with Íshestar! From the initial safety videos to our interaction with the guides, everything was first class and very organized. Our guide even took the extra step in lining our family up for a group photo, nice touch! We are all beginner riders so they made this experience very easy and enjoyable. Not to mention our horses were very sweet and gentle!
