My wife and I had a great food tour with Adam. He took us to some great spots and was very knowledgeable about the food and the culture of Iceland. We had probably the best cinnamon roll ever at Braud & Co.

It was a wonderful, fact filled tour. The food choices were great and a comprehensive tasting of local food and products. Our guide, Adam Kozlovsky, had a super grasp of the food scene and the best local Products. He also gave us a great review of life in Iceland. We couldn’t have been happier with him and he made the tour super.

I’ve done many Secret Food Tours in various cities. They are always great, but Adan was by far the best guide we’ve had. He is knowledgeable, personable and gave us a wonderful tour. Not only were all the food tastings delicious, but we learned a lot bout the city, the country and its history.

Adam is a very personable and outgoing guide with a genuine interest in both the food culture as well as the well being of his guests....he provided many hours of insightful information while we walked thru the city...I enjoyed the "Icelandic Hot Dog" plus the pulled lamb...the stop at the bakery was awesome...the visit to the Flea Market food market very interesting, but no tastings...then, for some reason, we continued walking for a long time, before stopping, finally for a sit down meal...this was unfortunately not my favorite meal; the soup was delicious, the fish dish not to my taste; the skyr yummy. But that was all we had to eat...no 5 tastings, no secret dish. I have been on many Secret Food tours around the world, and this was not a good representation of their usual high quality tour..this was NOT Adam's fault, but a little more food and a little less walking would have been ideal.

Highly recommend! Our guide Adam W. was very informative and full of local knowledge. He made us feel so welcomed and relaxed throughout our tour. Skip that hotel breakfast and arrive hungry for this amazing food tour! I promise you that you will need a full belly nap from all the deliciousness you will eat during this tour.

Our guide Gaia was informative on both the local food and history, and we enjoyed the walking tour and tasting. We tried both traditional Icelandic foods and newer, more artisanal, efforts. Enjoyed seeing how the island is expanding its cuisine with immigration but adding its own island twist.

This is a must do tour while you are in Reykjavik! Our guide, Adam, was very knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our group. We not only learned a lot about the local food but also all about the city of Reykjavik as well. We tried more food than we could eat and were able to take home a few treats with us.

Gaia was great! So friendly and knowledgeable. Learned a lot of fun tips and local info. We enjoyed trying the local food like lamb Soup, fish mashed potatoes, and wedding cake pastry. Ending the tour in a cute cafe with warm hot chocolate in the winter is exactly what we needed.
