Unfortunately we didn’t see much of the Rau forest, as one of us is having trouble walking, but the guides tried very hard to make that work, even bringing along a chair to rest in. What we DID experience was the cooking class with Mama Matalo. What a wonderful time! We helped with the preparation, including making coconut milk, then we watched as they masterfully created six delicious dishes over a fire. It was a lot of fun and very interesting. Also delicious!
It was an experience I would definately recommend! The cooking class with mama was incredible. She showed me how to make a lot of dishes and we went to visit the market. The walk around Rau forest was also a very informative. I really enjoyed, especially when we arrived at the hidden ricefields. The view is just incredible!

Nasoro has been an exceptional guide. What a fantastic experience! The cycling tour was great, we have been really well guided by our guide Daniel, a friendly man who could tell us a lot about the locals and the beautiful nature, agriculture, animals,... We were also allowed to eat at 'de mama' who had prepared very tasty dishes for us. Highly recommended! Thank you Daniel 🙏

It was a great experience, the walk in the Rau forest felt magical. We saw many monkeys (colobes and blue monkey) and our guide Nassoro taught us a lot of things about plants and insect. Go with this tour without any hesitation !
