Vi henter dig tidligt om morgenen fra dit hotel i Cusco. Det vil tage omkring 2,5 timer at komme til Rainbow Mountain fra Cusco. 30 minutter før vi ankommer til turens startpunkt, spiser vi morgenmad på en hyggelig restaurant mellem bjergene.
Før du starter turen, vil vores guider give nogle nyttige tips, så du kan gå sikkert til toppen af bjerget. Vandringen starter i 4.800 meter over havets overflade, hvorfor vi skal tage det roligt og langsomt. Når du først er på toppen af bjerget, vil du indse, at alt det hårde arbejde har givet pote! Vores guider vil forklare bjergets oprindelse og vil give dig lidt fritid, så du fuldt ud kan værdsætte dette naturlige vidunder.
Efter en hel dag fuld af eventyr, er det nu tid til en velfortjent frokost. Det bør tage omkring 1,5 time at vandre tilbage til parkeringspladsen. Vi har udvalgt en restaurant, hvor du vil være i stand til at prøve det bedste fra det peruvianske køkken. Når vi er færdige med alle aktiviteterne, vender vi tilbage til Cusco. Aflevering sker ved din bolig.

It was a really good tour that I would highly recommend. They provide food before and after the hike which is really good cause you have to wake up early and then feel exhausted and hungry after the hike. The guide even provided us with walking sticks, which helped a lot. He offered to take pictures of two of us. However, the tour advertised that we will be picked up from our hotel, which didn't happen in our case. Although our hotel wasn't accessible by car, they could've chosen a closer pick-up location at least. Another slight issue was although we were given a meet-up spot, it was a huge square and we had to message the organisers for some time before they got back to us saying they'll be there in 2 mins, which was later than agreed.
Excellent guide, the vehicle was new. Overall very good.

It is a long 3+ hours trip from Cusco but once you get to the top of the mountain the views are awesome. I would highly recommend paying for a horse unless you’re under 30 and very fit. The altitude affect is significant

This is a must see even during rainy season! The coordination of transfers was seamless, there were horses for those who didn’t want to make the entire hike up and/or down, and the guide and driver took great care of us. The meals were also wonderful.
Ernesto made me feel welcome from the beginning. He was concerned for me during the trek and checked in with me several times. I appreciated his concern and professionalism. Our driver William was kind and very skilled. He was the first to greet me when I made it down the mountain!

Professor Roberto was extremely competent in teaching us about the general culture of the Incas, about the Andean region and about the Quechua language, in addition to being very friendly. The tour was great, very fun and the beautiful landscapes.
