Definitely worth the price we paid. Our guide was professor Ahmed Elsisi. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience amazing. We learnt lots about ancient Egypt, and got some brilliant photos. Would highly recommend.

Our guide was professor ahmed elsisi. This was definitely worth the price we paid. We spent a full day in Luxor at the valley of the kings, temple of hastheput and the temple of hoba. We also had our dinner in a local Egyptian restaurant and tried the local cuisine. Our guide was very good he had bundles of information which made our trip. I would deffo recommend it’s 100% worth your time and money.

We were picked up by a private vehicle directly at our hotel in Marsa Alam and got through to Luxor without any problems. There we met our guide Mark, who greeted us very warmly right away, accompanied us very professionally throughout the entire tour, and taught us a lot of knowledge about the ancient temple complexes. Everything was strategically very well organized, so that we did not encounter too many crowds and could look at everything in peace. Definitely a highly recommended experience.

This full-day Luxor trip was all we could have wished for and more! We were picked up at our hotel at 02:00 AM by a comfortable private van with two drivers and arrived in Luxor around 09:00 AM. Once there, we met our French and English-speaking guide Ismail who accompanied us throughout the day. Ismail was both very knowledgeable and animated (making sure to address not just the adults but also our 4-year-old), teaching us about Luxor's history and answering all our questions. We spent ample time at each of the sites and had a delicious lunch at a typical, local restaurant. We drove back to our resort around 04:00 PM. The only criticism I would have is that the drivers drove a little reckless on the highway at times, which made us a little uncomfortable (with one child and a pregnant woman in the van). After asking them to drive more safely however, they paid more attention and it got better.

We were picked up from our hotel in Marsa Alam as early as 3 a.m. Our dear driver Omar drove us to Luxor reliably and safely. He drove very pleasantly, took sufficient breaks, and constantly checked on our well-being. We always felt safe. At our first stop at the Karnak Temple, our guide Osama was waiting for us. Our tour included the following stops: Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, craft workshop, Habu Temple, lunch, and a short Nile cruise. Overall, it was an unforgettable, very interesting, and educational day. Osama provided us with so much great and exciting information; we listened to his explanations, fascinated. He explained everything to us in a wonderfully understandable way; one could follow his stories at all times. As a teacher, I can say that Osama explained everything great, also in a child-friendly way, so that our 11-year-old daughter understood everything and found it exciting. He didn't just reel off a "program," but he always catered to our needs and designed the tour in a way that suited us. He chose the order of the stops in such a way that we were actually able to largely avoid the large tourist crowds. It was so incredibly hot, and he was always mindful that we stood mostly in the shade when he was explaining something. He also warned us about and kept us away from annoying and dubious vendors. We never had the feeling of "just" having a guide for our tour; rather, it was as if a good old friend had accompanied us through Luxor. We took this fantastic excursion to Luxor where we visited the Valley of the Kings (several tombs), crossed the Nile on a felucca reserved just for us, visited the temple of Ramses III, and concluded with the imposing Luxor Temple. In between, we had the pleasure of first stopping by an alabaster artisan shop and later at a local spice shop. But a heartfelt thank you goes to our guide Maddalena for her professionalism, her passion, and the extraordinary dedication with which she guided us to the discovery of Luxor. With her stories and exciting explanations, she managed to make us experience the history of ancient Egypt, transforming every temple and every monument into a unique emotion. Her presence made this trip truly special and invaluable. Private round-trip transfer included (departure at 3 in the morning in our case) with a very careful driver, lunch is also included unlike the drinks which are excluded.

Tour with Ahmed Elsisi. Taxi driver was polite and a nice guy but drove way too fast the speed limit warning bell was ringing both ways for 4 hours and I felt in danger. Car also lacking oxygen! Air con was bad and not allowed to open a window plus smoky as hell. Guide was very knowledgeable but also very bossy, kept clicking his fingers and didn't want to give us any time to explore gift shops yet dropped us off at a super expensive alabaster factory where we felt forced to buy something by the hardest sell we've ever experienced. Sites themselves were incredible but this tour was the worst we have ever experienced.

An unforgettably beautiful day that began with a punctual pickup and the nice driver Omar. In Luxor, we met our guide Osama Mohawes. He speaks excellent German and you feel comfortable from the very first moment. He took care of us in an excellent and very attentive manner. He showed us the sights and many other places in a very informative way. Since there were only three of us, we could ask questions about everything, and these were answered very knowledgeably and professionally. We also visited Banana Island, which was a perfect suggestion from Osama. We are incredibly grateful that Osama was our guide. We ended the day with a meal at an Egyptian restaurant, which was also very good. All in all, it was a perfect day. Thanks again to Osama and our driver Omar. We would book the tour again at any time.

We had our tour guided by Ahmed Elsisi. He was friendly and engaging, sharing his vast knowledge through entertaining and memorable stories! The tour had a varied itinerary so we definitely felt we made the most of our full day trip.

We visited Luxor with Legacy Tour, booking through Booking.com. It was a wonderful family trip in a private car (not a coach), and everything was perfectly organized. The car picked us up from the hotel right on time. Our guide was Professor Ahmed Elsisi; he impresses not only with his knowledge of ancient Egypt, its history, and the sites we visited, but also by sharing that knowledge in a witty and accessible way. We recommend it wholeheartedly!
