Vi henter dig fra dit hotel kl. 8.00 om morgenen i privat transport og kører cirka 20 minutter til bakkerne over Cusco. Vi besøger de fantastiske inka-steder i Puka Pukara (en inka-militær forpost) Tambomachay (hvor du kan se inka-akvædukter), og til sidst besøger vi de massive kampesten, der udgør ruinerne ved Sacsayhuaman. Efter at have taget os tid til at nyde den majestætiske udsigt over Cusco, bliver vi hentet af vores chauffør og vender tilbage til Cusco for at spise frokost på en restaurant på hovedtorvet. Efter frokost vil vi have en dybdegående byrundtur i Cusco, hvor vi besøger San Pedro-markedet, som er et lokalt, ikke-turistisk marked. Derefter besøger vi alle de bedste steder i Cusco, inklusive katedralen, solens tempel, og hvis vi har tid, museet, hvor alle de originale artefakter fra Machu Picchu er placeret.

Retur med privat transport til hovedtorvet i Cusco, hvor vi spiser frokost, og hvis du er modig, kan du prøve marsvin (cuy). Efter frokost går vi til det travle San Pedro-marked, hvor mange lokale Cusqueños handler og spiser. Vi tager en rundtur på stativerne, der sælger alt fra frugt og grøntsager, kød og lægeplanter.
Derefter vil du blive ført på en rundvisning på de vigtigste historiske steder i Cusco inklusive Plaza de Armas og den største katedral. Inde i katedralen kan du se et massivt sølvalter og et maleri af den sidste aftensmad, hvor de spiser marsvin. Vi vil også give dig en rundvisning i Coricancha, som var det mest hellige Inca-tempel dedikeret til Inti, solguden. Da spanierne ankom til Cusco, rev de templet ned ved hjælp af det eksisterende fundament, hvorpå man kunne bygge en kolonikirke. Hvis der er tid, kan vi besøge museet, hvor mange artefakter fra Machu Picchu er placeret.

We took the city tour with the Valentin's Pachamama team and were very well taken care of. We took the tour to the most popular and interesting places around Cusco and also to the city's tourist attractions. Our guide, Hernesto, was very knowledgeable about the city's history and also about ancient civilizations. If you're looking for an exclusive experience, it's definitely worth it.

Valentin and his son have been incredible guides for a day full of history, culture and activities! Valentin is an expert guide with whom we toured all of Cusco. You can tell that he is very well prepared and passionate about his work. Booked the private full day tour of Cusco for my mother and me and had an amazing time! Valentin and Kenny were so knowledgeable about the cultural significance of every single stop and answered all of our questions along the way. We both learned so much about Incan culture and their way of life, and seeing the sites by ourselves just wouldn’t have been the same. It was also our first full day in Cusco, and they went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortably acclimating to the elevation during the tour. Highly recommend!
This was a wonderful full day tour exploring the ruins that surround Cusco. Our guide Simon was very knowledgable. He provided lots of history of the Inka empire that engaged the whole family. The tour also took us to the Cathedral and the San Pedro Market. Our driver Daniel was punctual, fun and also provided information of the places that we visited.

Valentin was one of the major reasons our group's trip to Peru was such an amazing experience for everybody. He is funny, charming, and so incredibly knowledgeable about a myriad of topics. Valentine did a two day tour for a group of us traveling in Cusco and the Sacred Valley of Peru. Valentine is so knowledgeable about Inca history and culture and brought this to us in an intelligent and accessible way. He was attentive to our needs. He spent time to explain the sites. He explained many things about Peruvian culture. We received so much from him in such a short time. His driver was excellent and the van was comfortable. His english is excellent.
