What a great day with Carlos! While Aveiro was such a quaint sweet town and Costa Nova had a beautiful beach our favorite stop was the Salt farm. The salt farm was so cool. This is how salt was harvested back in Roman times. So exciting to see the ingenuity from 100s of years ago in action. We appreciate the people who took initiative to reopen this farm. We hope they are able to keep it open. It is worth a stop if you are in the area.

Carlos is an excellent and interesting storyteller. Gave us a lot of good advice. It was a nice ride. Frankly, in Aveira you may not go boating, we have not seen or learned anything interesting or useful, but it is not a question for Carlos or his agency, it is a question for the guys who organize boating. Other than that, it's fine.

Our driver Carlos was friendly and very knowledgeable. He took pictures of our group as we went by in the boat and allowed us to personalize our tour to or interests. I would highly recommend this tour.

We were picked up at our Porto hotel and everything was excellent. Carlos took us to all the interesting places and we could stop for any reasonable time. Aveiro is beautiful and full of colour. The area by the old fish market is particularly colourful. Note, many tourist shops close for lunch and the park area by the quay is being renovated. They would not stop me recommending this trip with Carlos. All in all an excellent escape from the big city to a quieter but equally interesting destination. Of our 3 days in Porto, this was our favourite!

The tour with Carlos was exceptional. We went to Aveiro and toured around. Had a tasty Portuguese treat at a bakery and took photos of the boats in the canals. We then went to costa Nova to see the striped houses had a lovely lunch and saw the powerful waves in the ocean. Then went on a ferry to a natural parkland. He also stopped for us to take photos of the colourful boats. Toured Gaia as well. Carlos is a wonderful tour guide and answered many questions about Porto and Gaia. I would highly recommend his tours to everyone. Thanks Carlos for an amazing day.
