Staff running the tour were lovely and very welcoming. Boat was good and we enjoyed a nice trip up and down the river with a great sunset
You can sit at the bow, inside, or on the fly deck. Lucky for us, other couple that we were sharing the fly deck with at first made the silly decision to go to the bow. There were at least 8 people down there and we were kicking back chatting with the Captain, drinking Vino Verde and enjoying charcuterie while experiencing unobstructed beautiful views of the Porto, Gaia, and ultimately of the Atlantic (with sunset), from the water. The crew was amazing. I wish I could give them an extra star!
Fantastic! Friendly hosts, gorgeous views, plentiful drinks, tasty snacks... What else could you ask for? Absolutely must have experience in Porto.
We were a group of 13 we had pre booked the 9.45 am trip. We used uber to travel to the port as it was about a mile outside the city. We were met by Christiano and his colleague. They helped us on board and gave us a safety briefing. We were advised that the upper deck offered better views. If there enough of you it is far superior to have exclusive use , We were offered the vinho verde wine sourced by the owner. This was very refreshing and drinkable. They also had rose and water available. The meats and cheeses always pleases ( Brit joke)
Fabulous experience and great very to see beautiful Porto from the river. Great hosts..Great wines and great commentary. Met some other Travellers and had a fabulous evening with many laughs

We has an exceptional time aboard this evening. Diego was an informative and delightful guide as we glided along the river marveling at the bridges and views. The snacks were delicious and plentiful and I enjoyed learning about the three types of Port Verde.
Really fun sailing on the Douro. The guides were knowledgeable and kept the drinks flowing. The charcuterie board was very cute and well portioned per person. My only criticism is check-in is chaotic. When I arrived, I skipped the check-in area to go to the gate where the instructions told me to wait where a lot of people are also waiting for their respective tours and it was stressful getting organized and checking in. Otherwise, the tour itself was worth it but leave extra time to ensure you check in.
