If you are visiting Assisi Italy and the Umbrian area and are in need of taxi service? Give Lorenzo a call. He is a young, pleasant driver who was so helpful. I used him several times on my most recent trip. And one time was an emergency, he was there in minutes. He is responsible and wonderful to work with. His english is very good too. Thank you for an amazing day: Alessandro was a fabulous guide, took us to two very unique and very different wineries. The hosts were so generous with their time. We enjoyed the evening VERY much and would recommend to anyone traveling to this area. Oh…and the wine was delicious!
One of the best experiences in Italy. Alessandro was an excellent guide through the two wineries we visited and made the trip so much fun. I would highly recommend this tour if in the Assisi area. Dinner with the owners and the sunset made is so wonderful. We had a great time and did not want the evening to end.
Probably the best evening of our vacation! Alessandro was a fantastic guide for our wine tour. I loved the wine, but the people we met were even better. As someone who has done extensive wine touring and tasting, this was among the best I have experienced.
Splendido Tours exceeded our expectations! My friend and I asked for recommendations for a 3 day pre-trip before joining a tour in Amalfi provided by Cultural Discovery Vacations. Our goal was to experience the people, wine and food of Umbria. Daniele arranged accommodations in Foligno and two tours. Everything was excellent. We had a wonderful tour guide in Assisi who was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The next day he arranged two winery tours in Montefalco including dinner at one of the wineries. Our guide and the tour were outstanding. Daniele helped us every step of the way; providing excellent information about the location, transportation and dining. I can wholeheartedly recommend Splendido Tours.
